Kevin at Wizbang checked out the Who’s Who entry for Joseph Wilson and found that “the name ‘Valerie Plame’ has been associated publicly with Joe Wilson since the Clinton era – nice secret…” (via Instapundit).
The Internet home for American gay conservatives.
Disingenuous. The fact that Wilson/Plame were/are “associated” is irrelevant. The point is: who spilled the beans about Plame’s job?
And who forged the Niger documents?
It’s not disingenuous. I can tell everybody that you work for the CIA. I can’t tell anybody that you’re undercover. Plus, according to the law, you can’t be undercover if you’ve been working exclusively in the U.S. for 5 years. Furthermore, Wilson told Wolfe Blitzer that she was not undercover at the time the article was written.
What’s disingenuous is the way the liberals are spinning the whole “Nada-gate”.
I don’t think the point is that Plame was married to Wilson. That fact could be found by doing a simple records search of marriage licenses.
The point was not that she was married to Wilson but that she worked for the CIA. That was the “revelation”.
No value judgement here on whether that was good or bad, just pointing out that marriage was the issue, employement was.
Sorry correction… “pointing out marriage wasn’t the issue, employement was.”
