Hahahaha. My straight son has yet to be ridiculed at high school for being straight. “Hey c**nt-sucker!” Not. Hahahaha. What a pussy this Thompson is.

Unless the object is that, because gays are ridiculed and misunderstood by straight people, it’s all right for them to do the same to other gays who may not share their opinion, I fail to see your point. That’s about on the level of saying that, because black people have been the victims of racism by whites, it’s all right for black people to abuse other black people with whom they disagree.

The writer of this piece, John Cloud, was on The O’Reilly Factor and kind of intimated that gay teens are not as “activist” as their predecessors. I think that was Lib Doublespeak for saying that gay teens are more conservative.

Incidentally, the writer’s name is very descriptive. He’s freakin’ flying above the clouds, that’s for sure. Nellie with a capital Nell.

Odd timing – there is a movie due out about the persecution and expulsion of the Mormons in Missouri. You think Mormons of all people would understand the value of tolerance and moral relativism.

Cheers for the article–it sounds great. It is very nice to see ppl with religious issues with homesexuality portrayed as being respectful. Gay activists tend to forget about it, but we really aren’t battling entirely for acceptance; tolerance is the buzzword, and in its truest form this is exactly what we want: we ask for people to leave us alone whether they approve or not. Sounds like these Mormons in the article got the point of that. Good for them.
