Hey, PatriotPartner….. why the hell are we moving to Charlotte again?
Lucky Us: We’re Among Tops in US for Gas Prices – Charlotte Observer
Oh, now I remember…. because I live 30 miles west of Washington, DC, and our roads look like this all the time except between midnight and perhaps 5:00AM.
I’ll pay for higher gas in the Queen City.
Now would someone please buy my friggin house in Virginia???!!!! The traffic isn’t thaaaaat bad……
-Bruce (GayPatriot)
I know how you feel Bruce. I look forward to nothing as much as my next relocation to the Midwest or Mountain states.
You call that traffic?
That’s nothing. Try the W. Loop 610 in Houston anywhere between 1430-2000.
You probably don’t want to hear this….but the Thirty sold before I even listed the place. 🙂
Houses in my neighborhood don’t last a week. Oh, by the way, my sister, a public school teacher, and her husband, a public school teacher, are getting ready to move into their 4,200 sq. ft. custom home. Yeah, real impoverished, those public educators.
Dang Bruce, before I read the whole post, I just thought you had posted a picture of traffic on I-77 through downtown Charlotte!
Ok, ok, I know it’s nowhere near as bad as DC…you’ll probably find it a breeze.
And don’t worry too much about those gas prices, before the hurricanes, Charlotte enjoyed prices much lower than the national average. I suspect we will fall back down there once the oil industry gets back on it’s feet.
Hey #2 – you just said a mouthful…I couldn’t agree more. And that’s why hubby & I live INSIDE Loop 610 !
Regards,
Peter Hughes
You don’t know ‘traffic’ until you’ve been on the Beltway at afternoon rush. On a Friday. In the summer.
So, no going away party with your fellow DC-area bloggers?
