  3. Oh, you’ll see spine all right, Hank old girl. From the GOP side. Alito wins confirmation and the GOP retains its majority in 2006. Deal with it.

  4. Unfortunately, for spine to be effective it has to be used…not just displayed on a rack. May I suggest it would make a wonderful bludgeon.

    Ahh, for the fond ‘days of yore’ when Members of the House and Senate went after each-other bodily and with purpose using canes and walking-sticks, and fired the occasional sidearm during heated debate.
