The thing I find so strange about this video is that guy in the backgroung…he does not even acknowledge what is going on with the two other guys. It’s as though this was a normal thing for them to be doing.

Just watched it again…. *laughing*…. and I’m really suspicious that these guys are actually in the People’s Republic. Houston Rockets jerseys? And man, the Commies have a great dental plan.

Beleive it! I spent some time in China and their youth is basketball obsessed. When I was there they were all wearing Laker jerseys and assumed, since I was from L.A. that I must know all the players. I also remember one young Chinese man I got to know asking my when George Bush was going to come and free them. I was quite touched. The oppressed of the world get what GW is trying to do. It’s only the spoiled elites that can’t comprehend the desire for freedom (and basketball jerseys).

Sad thing is… I am now forced, for the first time in public, to admit that I like that song. There! I said it. I know it’s pastey. I know it’s fluff. I know it’s a stupid boy band. As a performing musician I feel dirty and ashamed. But the musical hook just grabbed me, and I’m a sucker for a good hook.
