Vietnam: America’s greatest defeat. The left’s greatest victory.
No wonder they can’t get over it.
No wonder they want all subsequent wars to be the same.

You’re spot on, V. Improbable as it is, I’ve actually come to believe that the American Left wishes that any military action ends in a humiliating retreat for the U.S., just so they can say, “See, I told you so!!! It’s just like Vietnam!”
Since their own victories are so few and of such inconsequence, they now somehow equate anything bad that happens to America under a Republican administration as a win for them. Deadly hurricanes? Good. Roadside bombings? Good. Unchecked Venezuelan dictators? Good. They’re probably even cheering for the Asian bird flu to develop into a pandemic. (Me too, actually, but only if it targets birkenstocks and patchuli.)

Oh, for shame, Glisteny. What could possibly make you think leftists would laugh and gloat over American defeat?

Rush just now: “Every success for the United States is a defeat for the left.”
V the K, you’re right on as always, sister. Wonder why no demoncRATS have responded yet? (Crickets….)
