2005 Weblog Awards — VOTE TODAY!

I woke up in a charitable mood this morning. I would like to announce that for every vote cast on behalf of GayPatriot in the 2005 Weblog Awards, I will donate $1.00 of my own money to Soldiers’ Angels, a charity benefiting our brave American volunteers in the US Armed Forces by sending them Christmas stockings, care packages and letters.

Last year, this blog received just over 1,100 votes. I will donate up to $2,000 to Soldiers’ Angels based on the votes cast this year.

  5. Bruce, nice and generous gesture to donate to Soldiers’ Angels. Class act on your part; they’re a class act, too. I’m following the lead of urban Democrats –I’ll be voting often and in as many venues as possible until stopped. Just kidding.

  8. I can’t get it to work either…maybe it’s broken with Firefox 1.5.
    Or maybe Adobe’s shut off Flash globally to celebrate their acquisition of Macromedia.
    Why it’s necessary to prevent anyone from voting who hasn’t installed Flash 7 I don’t know….maybe Solder’s Angels aren’t the only ones getting paid off. :-)

  10. Problem found: Under Firefox 1.5 the Adblock plug-in will disable Flash unless you remove “obj-tabs” from the adblock options
