I heard a funny theory on the radio this past week. I wish I’d remember which channel it was. It may have been the Tanner in the Morning program on one of our new favorite country stations, WSOC – 103.7 FM.
But in any case, the theory went that by 2pm on Christmas day, the entire family begins to “gell” around one favorite toy or favorite gadget. For example, everyone wound up playing “Trivial Pursuit” in its heyday.
Well, around the PatriotHouse today, the Magellan GPS handheld and my new Podcasting equipment are high on the list. And we may settle down to watch “March of the Penguins” shortly.
So what is “gelling” everyone together in your house so far today?

Hey guys!,
It’s Alan from “Opposite Day”. I got my son tons of toys this year, but two stood out and ending up “gelling” with all of us.
The first was the “Air Hog ” car that “goes up walls”. At first, looking at the size of it (it’s nearly a foot and a half long and almost nearly as wide), I thought it would disappoint. But damn if this thing doesn’t go straight up the wall! You can even go parallel, turn, go in circles and even down the wall! After a while, the “adults” were vying for their turn!
The second “hit” was a game that I had as a child and thought my son Dylon might like as well. It is a classic and I am glad they still produce it. And that would be….”Operation”! My son and the family took turns operating on “Sam” for over an hour. Big hit!

We wound up having a “Golden Girls” marathon this afternoon… a gift that PatriotMom received!
Hmmmm.
Nothing really. I suppose maybe that toaster that cooks the egg and warms the Canadian bacon while it toasts your English muffins would be the closest thing.
After a while, I gelled with my bed then with my new Xbox & Halo.
Nada We just played cards all day.
Hi, I thought I’d just leave this message on your blog. I hope you don’t mind. I’ve been trying to find blogs where people are talking about Search engine internet marketing strategy and when I was looking, I found this one on this post. You have helped me in some way. Anyway, I want to say thank you before I go off to find some more info about it.
