GayPatriot Hits Half-Million!!
Wow. I never thought this day would ever arrive…. even in my most bravado blogging moments of the past year and a half. What started out as a small labor of love has really turned into a great community in the blogosphere.
Once again, Dan and I (and our new GP family member Nick) would like to stop and thank all of our readers for their awesome support of the GayPatriot blog.
But for this go-round, we would like to especially thank our brothers and sisters in the PajamasMedia blognetwork for embracing us with open keyboards….. and most especially, the InstaProf himself — Glenn Reynolds, for putting us over the half-million mark last night. Thanks, Glenn!
As always, do not hesitate to email Dan, Nick or I with any suggestions, criticisms, or feedback. We strive to keep improving this place all of us call home (for at least a few minutes a day!). And thanks for all of your supportive emails like Steve’s last evening:
Many thanks to Gay Patriot for speaking out. You guys are not only giving voice to gay American conservatives but you are also providing a needed alternative tone to Andrew Sullivan.
Some things to look forward to in the coming weeks: the launch of the GayPatriot Report — our foray into the world of podcasting. (I’m accepting volunteers to help with that…. please email me!)

Congratulations, GP and GPW. Having been hanging around since the beginning, it’s been wonderful to watch this grow and mature….and spin off little blogfruits like mine. Well-deserved kudos, gentlemen…..and here’s to the next half-million!

When I first found this blog last February (ish), I sent the link to my rabid lib little brother to prove that I was not the only gay person who might find more in common philosophically with the Bush crowd than the Kerry contingent. And, quite frankly, I knew the existence of this site would piss him off. I appreciate the thoughtful analysis on this site and will continue to leave senseless comments as only I can.
