Regardless of the past outrages on both sides of the gay/straight issue, generally today both sides live in peace and we are seeing a more tolerant society both ways. There will always be evil ones regardless if they are so called religious, straight or gay that harm others. Hopefully one day we will be able to find and punish these individuals before they do much harm.

The real threat to our society and freedoms is Islamic terrorism and Islam’s intention to dominate the world.

A house divided can not stand. We have to work together to overcome this. It will take gays, straights, religious people, agnostics and atheists to overcome Islam and our Federal Governments political correctness.

They are taken to task by many and reminded that we have to eradicate the problem of Islam together. They are told to be part of the solution or they are part of the problem. There is support completely across the board for each person’s views unless there views are intolerant.

As a Christian first and politician second, the Prez has never said he’d want to kill or destroy anyone except those who wish us harm, i.e. those same Islamofascists who would sooner slit our throats or hang us in the public square. This so-called “Religion of Peace” does not apply to how they treat gays. You would be better served worrying about the enemies who have said they would kill us (Islamicists) rather than those that you have imagined saying such a thing because it fits into your crazy worldview.

I’ve been hearing the “gays will be put in concentration camps” argument for the last 25 years, and to me it sounds more like wishful thinking on the part of the demoncRATS than anything coming from the GOP. I personally think the Left would WANT us to be in concentration camps just to prove their POV is correct. Yet I don’t see any of us being herded off to Arizona in some cattle cars.

And no – I do NOT have a serial number tattooed on my forearm. This argument has lost its merits. Case dismissed.

Is the any real concern in the gay community about Islam??

I have the feeling that some gays are concerned about Islam but to many are more concerned about everyday life. It is the same in the striaght community.

Jay, what other choices are there??

Islam has only two choices for non-Muslims, convert or die. For gays, Islam has only one choice, death.

I have made the choice that Islam is not acceptable under any condition and that I will fight and die for my God, family, country and right to be be free and this includes fighting and dieing for your right to be free too.

In the Muslim world countless examples of 14th century mentality and barbarism can be seen regularly online, in the MSM and new media. There is no moral equivalency between radical Islam hanging gay teenagers to death and the modern American Christian. Cleary, the modern American Christian (yes, even those who do not support my lifestyle), are culturally superior to the Muslim animals who kill and pillage in reaction to a cartoon, slowly behead innocent bound captives for video distribution and propaganda, beat their women, kill their daughters who have “shamed” them in some minor way, and execute young men for homosexual activity.

We have a duty as Americans, indeed as Westerners, to do the hard work on all levels, to ensure that the enlightenment of our civilization never dims. It is only be virtue of this unfailing enlightenment that the innocent will be freed of barbarism, by example, by choice, or by strategic, precise, and awesome use of force if necessary.

By just shrugging and saying, “that doesn’t happen in America”, we run the risk of ignoring the chances of the culture eventually allowing that to happen.

Given how many gays have been beaten and murdered over the years, I’m sure their killers have used any number of excuses, including Christianity, to justify their crime.

I guess if wanting to put us into ex-gay facilities or bringing back sodomy laws or keeping us away from children is tolerant.

But we need to remember that it is in the nature of the far right to condemn Gay people. I vote Republican for national security, economic principles, and anti-socialist principles – not because of the Party’s shining record of Gay and lesbian support.

The founder of Islam, Mohammed was a pedophile, child molester, child rapist, woman beater and executer of homosexuals and infidels. Mohammed married a six year old girl baby and started raping this girl child at the age of nine. Mohammed also instructed his followers that when their wives were not obedient to beat them and lock them away until they became obedient. Mohammed also instructed his followers to hunt down and execute any Gays that they find. The followers of the evil and vile Mohammed, the Muslims, have made Mohammed their prophet and carry out his commands and will lie to you about how peaceful Islam is as they cut your throat.

The conservatives – Christians are generally tolerant and have a live and let live attitude concerning Gays in America. There are those on both sides of the road that will condemn each other regardless of the majority view, but you do not find the far right executing Gays for being Gay or the far left Gays executing straights for being straight. There are always exceptions to all statements, but in general conservative Christian America and Gays generally live in peace with each other. We may not agree with everything that each other says or stands for, but we respect the right of each individual to have the freedoms and rights to believe and say those things as long as we do not harm each other. This is not the way with Islam.

Islam has no tolerance for Gays Christians Jews or Americans only death.

As vocal as the Gay community is about protecting your rights, the Gay community has been silent about the threat of Islam.

Islam is not being silent. Islam is screaming, rioting and murdering over cartoons. Think what it will be like if they conquer America.

Wake up Gay America. Islam will hunt you down and execute all Gays in America if Islam takes over America.

The very rough gist of the discussion, for me, was that the gay groups in question had been linked to NAMBLA and the Bush Administration’s moves were justifiable.

Dave, to be “troubled seeing the U.S. parallel with Iran in any way” is, in my opinion, tantamount to puerile oppositionalist thinking. (“Anything Iran does, we should do the opposite” type thinking.) I frankly don’t give a hoot if Iran agrees with us on something. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

So if Iran opposes child molesting and NAMBLA, so much the better for them. It’s their execution of gay teenagers and their destructive megalomaniac ambitions that I worry about.
