American Idol – Male Night
It was the girl’s shot last night as the final 12 females sang (some great, some not-so). But tonight begins the paring down of the final 12 men. I think that this is the best crop of guy singers that ‘Idol’ has ever had. I’m guessing most would agree that these are the two frontrunners for the guys.
Chris Daughtry
They both have “the look” as well as great voices from what we’ve been able to hear so far. I’m rooting for the two Carolinians in the competition, though….. Daughtry and Kellie Pickler.
So consider this “American Idol Open Thread Wednesday”. I’ll be watching in an hour!!

I really like Chris. I hope he can sing well tonight. He’s very handsome, rugged, and he did a lot of men wouldn’t do when he married a woman who already had chilrdren. They aren’t known as his stepkids, just his kids.

Well the show is over. I thought most of them were nervous. Chris was fantastic, and so hot.

I’d like to add Taylor Hicks (the gray haired guy) to the list of great performers tonight. He doesn’t have the boy band looks of Ace or the bad boy looks of Chris but he sure can sing.

IMHO, neither of them exactly put a toot in my horn. However, if it came down to a choice, I’d take Chris.
