CHARLOTTE – THE HOME OF NASCAR

By all press accounts, later today NASCAR will announce that Charlotte has won the bid to have the NASCAR Hall of Fame built in our fine city. It is a great win for Charlotte and we are so excited to be here at a great time in the city’s development.

There will be much more on this story later today… so stay tuned.

  1. Given the role NC has played in NASCAR and the fact that many of the drivers and owners live in the region, it only makes sense for it to be in Charlotte.

    And why? Wouldn’t it be better in the birthplace of NASCAR racing? After all, if there had been no Daytona, the race would not be the same today.
