Saxby has been absent in this space for quite a while. And while I wing back to Charlotte this evening, he is patiently waiting at the boarding facility for his two Dads to be home for the weekend. (Saxby…. I’ll pick ya up tomorrow AM!)

3. I don’t refer to it as the boarding facility or kennel. I tell my 2 “children” (a Jack Russell and an over weight Basenji) that they’re going to, “The Puppy Spa”. I’m sure that they think it sounds much more posh that way.

4. Well, some of the ones I’ve seen on celebrity-TV and in the “lifestyle magazines” certainly look “posh”. And some of the Doggy-Daycare facilities in corporate America are down-right decadent; snacks, recreation co-facilitators, comfort food and daytime TV soaps on-demand.
