GAYPATRIOT WELCOMES PRESIDENT BUSH TO CHARLOTTE, NC

April 6, 2006 by Bruce Carroll

Unfortunately, I’m missing all the action as I’m on a flight from Seattle to Charlotte and won’t be landing until late afternoon after President Bush has left my fine city.

So, for the latest in coverage of the Big Guy’s visit to the Queen City…. I’d suggest this website from the local NBC affiliate (WCNC, Channel 6) which I normally watch for local news. Hopefully they will have live coverage.. maybe streaming video if we are lucky!

Welcome, Mr. President. God Bless you and God Bless America!

Welcome to Charlotte! Only good things to say! Thank your for telling Congress to pass an anti-marriage amendment – in each of the last three SOTU addresses! We won’t mention it here.

I am gay and have a website. I support a President who feels I am a second class citizen who if given civil recognition of a a primary loving relationship will destroy our country. I am a twisted self hating bozo.

Memo to the two self-loathing Ba’athist sympathizers above: al-Qaeda doesn’t care who you voted for in the last two elections. In case you haven’t checked your passports yet, YOU ARE AMERICANS. That’s all the criteria that most Islamofascists need to kill you.

And lest we forget that if you are indeed homosexual, that’s a second strike against you. You’ll be dangling by your heels in the town square – if you’re lucky. Otherwise, you’ll be buried under a ton of boulders alive.

Oh, wait, and you don’t have a gay marriage right! But you can still exercise more freedom here than in the Middle East. Please point out to me how much your life suck again?

    Regards,
    Peter H.

I’m surprised you were able to get that much out of their conversation, Peter.

I myself have an inordinate amount of trouble hearing what people like that who blast others for supporting politicians who support antigay amendments are saying; the problem always seems to be that their lips are clamped too firmly on a Democrat’s ass.

Gee, ND30, I was expecting their lips to be on something else. You know, like Monica used to do in the Oval Orifice with Slick Willie.

    Peter,
Neither rjp3 nor Jeremy mentioned anything about Al-Queda, so why would you mention it?
Also, try to have some compassion and empathy for people. Because there is more freedom in the US than there is in the middle east is not a reason to justify discrimination. Besides, isn’t the reason Bush gives for the war now is that we are spreading freedom? Can’t we spread some more here too?
    Love,
    Jesus

Well, guess you folks will need to support your little friend Bush as much as you can. With Scooter Libby’s disclosure today, it’s now officially clear what a group of lying, cheating, low-life scum now runs our country. We’ve known all along what a mean spirited bubch this is and we finally have proof. Your friend Bush committed nothing short of a treasonous act to “get back” at someone who wouldn’t lie to push his war agenda. This mental midget should be tried as a traitor to the country.

I don’t think God will have time to bless Bush these days folks; God will probably be too busy damning him to hell.

#6 – What an empty comment, Jesus.

rjp3 wrote in for essentially no other reason than to call Bruce a “twisted, self-hating bozo”. Perhaps you should have some compassion and empathy for Bruce, and thus direct your speeches toward rjp3?

And perhaps Peter mentioned al Qaeda because they want to kill us, making them an essential part of the overall “picture” of why a rational gay person should view everything in perspective and not be so hateful as rjp3 was. Ya think?

    Peter,

I do not support George Bush. I think he made a mistake by invading Iraq. I think it has made Americans less safe. I also question why he invaded Iraq in the first place. I don’t trust him. I think he lies and twists the truth – alot.

I also don’t see what marriage amendments have to do with Al-Qaeda. I live In America with a consitution and I don’t appreciate being denied the right to marry the person of my sexual and romantic interest just because I am gay.

The issue has also been shamelessly used by the GOP for political gain as well – which is wrong.

Yes – Islamic Fundmentalsits kill gays.
Yes – Islamic fundmentalists are evil.
Yes – George Bush has made us less safe.

You don’t fight a war against Muslims with over 1.5 billion memebrs by pouring gasoline on a fire. It makes no sense.

We need a President with a big brain who can fugure out how to win the war on terror – only a highly intelligent person will be able to do that – Bush is NOT that person.

  11. G. says

    April 6, 2006 at 5:53 pm - April 6, 2006

    PS

    Peter,
You need to raise your standards in terms of who leads the USA – the only superpower in the world.

We can not afford the policies of the Bush Administration.

liberal, you should click here – You badly need to read this. The thing you’re trying to get excited about is (yet another) non-story.

The Administration was, in 2004, about to declassify some 2002 National Intelligence Estimate stuff into the public domain and authorized Libby to preview that stuff to reporters – B.F.D. Sorry to disappoint you.

  14. North Dallas Thirty says

Oh, but the problem is, G., you and your fellow Democrats have no problem with banning gay marriage, or even supporting the FMA.

But, as paid and endorsed Democratic spokesperson Cindy Sheehan shows, not only do Dems support banning gay marriage, they also support al-Qaeda terrorists, sending them money and calling them “freedom fighters”.

    Wow.

Ya know, I’m humbled by the sheer brilliance of this comment. Much like “Plan 9 From Outer Space,” this observation is so completely bereft of anything resembling coherent thought, it’s downright admirable.

If only I could condense my worldview into four short, hate-filled sentences, I’m sure everyone would be simply amazed, right?

Just substitute “Osama bin Laden” for “George Bush” and you can see the kind of patriotic thinking that we on the Right have for the true anti-Christ.

You Lefties are so pathetic, I wonder how you manage to get up in the morning.

I find it fascinating that as a patriot you assume the president is correct. Without checks and balances, he is, yet, just a man and man is fallable. But the definition of patriot does not say, close thine eyes and be lead by anyone.

    You are a shameful bunch.

Pathetic at best. Next time you want someone to read FACTS, perhaps stating that declassifying a covert operative by anyone outside the immediate office of the CIA, is ILLEGAL. But you obviously can’t read.

    Pathetic at best.

Okay, you owe me. I was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when I got to that, and now I have it all over my monitor.

declassifying a covert operative by anyone outside the immediate office of the CIA

Moron. The President is the Commander-in-Chief, and he trumps everybody at the CIA.

    #20 –

    (a) Plame was not covert. (Not since being outed by Aldrich Ames.)

    (b) Plame was not, repeat NOT, even part of the declassified information in question here. Totally separate subject. What was declassified was a 2002 National Intelligence Estimate about Iraq, that happened to demonstrate Wilson was the liar and fraud he is.

Before casting admonitions about shame and “FACTS”, Jose, you would do well to learn the basics of the subject you’re speaking of.

  23. Calarato says

    April 7, 2006 at 1:53 pm - April 7, 2006

P.S. And if your focus here is Plame – not the latest fake-flap about whatever the White House (legitimately) leaked about Iraq and Wilson –

Please note that (a) they still don’t know who the Plame leaker is, and (b) the most likely remaining candidates for “first leaker” are all outside the White House. (Richard Armitage of the State Department bureaucracy is a name that comes up often in speculation.)

Jose, you seem to have already convicted the White House for the (non-crime) of outing (the non-covert) Plame when, in fact, no indictments have been made in that direction and the evidence leading to them is thin.

  26. North Dallas Thirty says

    April 7, 2006 at 5:47 pm - April 7, 2006

To add to #22, Plame had been hurriedly yanked back to the United States in the early nineties because, as the story goes, she was in immediate and extreme danger of being captured and killed because her identity was known.

Unless you want to say that the CIA was stupid enough to use someone who they KNEW had been outed and they KNEW had been unceremoniously rushed out of a country (which triggers all sorts of red flags for counterintelligence operations), it’s safe to say that the only place Valerie Plame was a “covert operative” was in Joe Wilson’s sexual fantasies.
