So proud am I today of what our Service Members accomplished this week in Iraq that I thought it appropriate necessary to make a donation to a group which supports the men and women of our armed forces. Having heard of the good work that Soldier’s Angels does, I made an online contribution. Please join me in doing the same.
In taking our this terrorist who murdered men, women and children in a number of Middle East nations, our soldiers not only did America proud, but they performed a service to the entire world. Whether it’s Soldier’s Angels or Operation Gratitude or the USO or another such group, please make a donation to show your appreciation to those risking their lives to fight for our freedom and to promote stability and democracy around the world.
UPDATE: Other groups to support include Wounded Warriors which assists severly wounded servicemen and women, Fisher House which helps families of hospitalized military personnel and Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund which provides financial assistance to injured marines.
Thanks for mentioning Operation Gratitude. All these organizations are wonderful, but as a “hard corps” volunteer with Operation Gratitude, it has a special place in my heart. Go to the website and read the letters from soldiers who recieve our packages, our support at home really means alot to our soldiers.
Thank you for mentioning Soldiers Angels and opthe very worthy groups
Your help is immeasurable,
Patti
Angels shine from without because their spirits are lit from within by the light of God.
