Trace, with all due respect, I think RWP finds comfort in the defeat of Joe Schwarz because he was a target of Club4Growth and a poster boy for what is wrong in GOP budgeting priorities.

It wasn’t because Walberg is anti-gay. Club4Growth is a group that was desperate for some evidence of relevancy inside the beltway and they did it by bouncing a liberal/moderate/progressive.

I bet some in Congress listen a whole lot better next time Club4Growth asks them to adopt sensible priorities, give access to the group, or seek accomodation on spending.

It seems a pity. She was the perfect billboard for the Dem’s urban strategy in politics. The pitiful example of what ethical people should avoid.

Lamont saves some of it by standing with Sharpton, however, so the real results of Dem policies will still be visible.

Did anyone catch Cynthia doing her best imitation of Pink and the Indigo Girls at the end of her swan song speech? AAAUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there was any proof that she was certifiable, THIS WAS IT.

And in answer to the comment in another GP post, no, I don’t think that Hank Johnson is as crazy as Cynthia was. He is much more respected that she is and also a former DeKalb County commissioner.

Yahoo! Congresswoman McKinney gets her walking papers! She was an embarrassment for her district & the U. S. Congress (imagine how freaky you have to be to bring shame to THAT body). Let’s hope that this is a sign that voters are in the mood to clean house & weed out the deadwood from Capitol Hill.

Dan, I’m not conversant on Georgia Democrat voter corruption practices… like I am with Detroit’s or Flint’s or Benton Harbor’s… when do McKinney’s people start printing ballots and stuffing the boxes?
