Oh man, this is hysterical!!! I think we know what Jay Leno thinks of Clinton’s performance.

You’re right, Bruce. We saw this and my partner and I rolled laughing. The parody captured Bill’s ego-centric “me-first 24×7” streak to a tee. The kid actor was superb… exactly like those tons of kid “journalists” who show up on everything from Zaboomafoo to TeleTubbies to all those snarky LindaEllerbe NickNews “shows” spinning the new LeftTheme.

Let me say upfront that I’m one of the moonbat liberals that sometimes reads your blog, Bruce, but I don’t often comment.
That being said, holy sh*t was that funny! I haven’t laughed that hard at an online video in a while. Wish I had seen the show! Tying this in to your post about partisanship, I’d say that this is a good example of even in our partisanship we need to keep a sense of humor about ourselves.

Yup, that was a hoot! I’ll bet Clinton himself would have a good laugh over that one.

nawh, I bet Bill Clinton wouldn’t have found it funny or amusing. Unless the camera was “On”. You all should read George Stephanopoulos’ “All Too Human” and gather a sense of the real Bill Clinton –from a guy who had to bail Clinton’s butt out of hot water far too often.
Peter Hughessays
Ah, yes, George Stephanopoulos…another closet case. Ranks up there with Anderson Cooper and other so-called metrosexuals. Makes Jeff Gannon look like a choir boy.
And Matt, read Dick Morris’ column regarding the “unmasking” of Bill Clinton. He corroborrates everything Steffy said, and more.

George Stephanopoulos is gay? I’ve seen pictures of Anderson Cooper’s partner, that’s not a well kept secret. But I hadn’t heard any speculation about Stephanopoulos.
I can see perhaps a reason Anderson Cooper might keep his sexuality an unspoken thing, as he was just on assignment in Kabul the other week. They don’t look kindly on our type over there. However, it’s probably more (unfortunately) because he worries it would hurt his career. But it’s not like he needs a career. He is a Vanderbilt. So yeah, his stance is a bit disappointing.
Peter Hughessays
But isn’t Anderson’s choice a detriment to our community? Why shouldn’t he be out and broadcasting on LOGO?
Or is he simply another libtard champagne socialist – “do as I say, not as I do, tax the rich but don’t mix with me socially unless you are worth $X million and can vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.”
You would be surprised how many straight viewers don’t know about Anderson’s dirty little secret. I wonder if it would make a difference to them.

Another funny. Andie Sullivan riff on those motivational posters:
Chase writes: “George Stephanopoulos is gay? I’ve seen pictures of Anderson Cooper’s partner, that’s not a well kept secret.”
The point isn’t whether you think AndieCooper’s gayness is a “well kept secret” or not, Chase.
The point is that when AndieCooper has been pointedly asked if he is gay –a element of others’ personal lives that the GayLeftBorg’s out-ousters like MickeyRogers think is fair red meat for the masses– AndieCooper evades, winks and nods, and becomes serious-faced in the half-denial that “I won’t comment on that”. Hoping that none of the grey-haired viewers of CNN are watching that half-denial when it’s broadcast.
Most of us here know that AndieCooper won’t admit his true nature because he’s scared. He’s scared he’ll lose viewers. He’s scared the matter will become a distraction to his effort to be portrayed as serious journalist. That’s why he’s secretive, hidden, and in the closet.
I think he can stay there as long as he wants; I’m not a mouth-foaming GayLeftBorg adherent who thinks if you’re gay and not “out proud” you’re selling your brothers & sisters down the proverbial river… because I know many of those same “out & proud” brothers have sold our political agenda down the river a hundred times in the last decade in order to appease (whoops, there’s that word again) Democrat Party leaders.
Would I like to see AndieCooper be a stand-up gay guy and say “I’m gay. I like gay sex. I can’t changed it. It’s part of who I am”?
Sure. I think of all those gay teenaged boys watching CNN between videogame car chase sequences on their PS2s and wonder, if AndieCooper could be a proud role model to those kids would he help avert 4-5-6-7 suicide attempts? If AndieCooper could come out and admit he was gay, would that help build at least a teeeny-tiny bridge between the str8 homophobic CNN viewers and our community? If AndieCooper came out would it help our community offset the negative image of gays like Rosie, Sir Ian, Sir Elton, GeorgeMichael and MichaelJackson in our society?
What we need more now than ever, is to fundamentally change how America sees “gay”. AndieCooper could help. It would take personal courage –something liberals seem loathe to engage.
But I think it would help. It would help him use all that enegry spent “hiding” his gay nature and put it to a more constructive use. OK, now we’re on the therapist’s couch and I don’t ever want to go there.
But if AndieCooper, like HillaryClinton, want’s to stay in the closet I say it’s their choice.
Elliot Richardson was found of saying, “Those who achieve fame or noterity owe it to society to use that accomplishment toward a constructive end.” That’s as true for AndieCooper as it is for others.
It doesn’t matter if you think it’s a well-kept secret or not. That defense or explanation is shallow and misses the bigger issue.
And, no, for the record I don’t think George Stephanopoulos is gay. Why is it that excessively preening, ego-centric short guys are often thought of as gay? Hmmm. I’ll ask Tom Cruise’s agent.

#12 – Also, Matt, another point to Chase’s argument:
If Anderson’s orientation was under wraps on his sojourn to Kabul, Afghanistan simply because (per Chase) “they don’t look kindly on our type over there,” isn’t that reason enough to continue the WOT in order to ensure that ALL people are free, regardless of race, sex or orientation? So that they CAN travel freely and not worry about being targeted?
Kind of shoots the entire war mindset of the left, no?

Peter, it would if the GayLeftBorg really cared about their gay brothers & sisters… but if they did, I doubt we’d see and be exposed to the kind of deepseated hatred that the words “conservative gay” or “gay Catholic” or “GOP gay” bring out from the GayLeftBorg.
For anyone on the Left who doubts that, head over to the DailyKos or BlogActive and type a pro-war or pro-Bush or pro-American sentiment. You’ll be surprised at the level of hatred gay brothers have for their own… oh wait, you already can appreciate that.
Nope Peter, that scenario works if the GayLeft honestly cared more about our community than partisan interests. They don’t.
