When did you head over to Mikey’s or JA’s slimeblog and state that this kind of outing is immoral and hurtful to our community’s long term goals? And in honor of the memory of raj-general-of-the-lower-case-clan, cites please.

Actually DannieBoi, it wasn’t the “right” –unless you mean that vast RightWingConspiracy who last pushed Impeachment upon your good Prez… oh wait, you guys inside the GayLeftBorg also think they fabricated the WMDs intelligence that led us into Iraq too.

Nope, it wasn’t the “right”; it wasn’t “Rove and the WH” no matter what pluckyRichDavis (McCain’s 2000 CampMgr) is said to have thought as reported on the vast LeftWingBlog of the Democrats. He clearly thinks otherwise.

Kind of like the allegations that AlGore was behind the spurious and mean spirited rumors in NH-2000 that Bill Bradley was a bigoted homophobe.

I think what you fail to appreciate, DannieBoi, is that most politicians and Parties are hypocrites of the 1st Order. So are MSM “leaders”, so are academic elites, so are business leaders, so are clergy etc. It’s up to the listener to determine if that hypocrisy “sells” or is invalid. For you it seems, if it comes from the Left or the GayLeftBorg, it sells –it’s truth.

Two years ago, the GayLeftBorg members were suggesting that soon2b Chief Justice Roberts was gay given three things: his seemingly analish complusion for neatness, his seemingly inability to father children, his wife’s seemingly Stepfordishness. It was a smear worthy of LBJ’s Daisy Girl ad in the 1964 race… which was developed by bigwig Democrat Tony Schwartz –king of the smear back then.

Of course, it wasn’t true for Justice Roberts but it made the slimebags inside the GayLeftBorg feel pretty good for a few days. And the ultimate point of pleasure for you guys was: “OK, prove he’s not gay, then”. That smear didn’t work, either. Nor did the “black baby” push-poll comments in the SC primary cause McCain to lose support of state voters –McCain’s record lost it for him there… and it was the same record that had obverse appeal to MichGOP primary voters.

DannieBoi, there’s a lot of hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle and it gets to fevered pitch level during a campaign when the “professional” political actors are generally replaced by volunteer campaigners and loosely allied organizations helping the candidates. It was that way in GeoWashington’s first non-race for Prez… and it’ll be that way in 2008, too.

While you might see “hypocrisy”… I see you as a partisan apologist trying to make political points from the cheap seats. Is that any more valid than your point of the McCain black baby smear was from the “right”? Nope.

Never. If the Democrats talk about issues, they lose. Which is why Pelosi’s whole philosophy has been to hide their agenda and focus on personal attacks.

Not unlike the low the right reached when it called people and told them McCain had a black baby. GASP!

Several leftwing bloggers are speculating that one of them is a Congressman McHenry (from North Carolina, I think). While I don’t believe it — and this will blow your mind — there is some buzz among leftwing bloggers that the Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert will be “outed”. That possihle allegation is apparently based on the fact that Hastert, his 56-year-old unmarried chief of staff and another member of the Speaker’s staff live together in Washington. Supposedly, the Speaker and his chief of staff have lived together for quite some time.

It’s one thing to ask legitimate questions about which members of the House GOP leadership knew what about Mark Foley, when they knew it and what they did about it. But if the left makes allegations about Speaker Hastert’s sexual orientation just weeks before a crossroads mid-term election the left has reached a new low in despicable politics.

And, V the K, perhaps no conservative has called you a faggot to your face. But when Dr. James Dobson goes on Larry King Live or Hannity and Colmes and rants about ho-MO-sex-U-ALs he smears every gay person.

BTW, did anyone see the TV interview with Tony Perkins of the Family Rsearch Council? Discussing Foley, he said he thought those who believe in a Republican big tent had made the tent a little too big. In the context of his remarks, he wasn’t just referring to the Foley — he was referring to all gay Republicans. At least that’s the way I interpreted it.
