Liddy Finds Her Fire
Maybe Bruce’s Senior Senator reads our blog. On Friday, I faulted Elizabeth Dole for not showing adequate “fire in the belly” in her face-off against Charles Schumer on Fox News Sunday. Well, yesterday, on Meet the Press, she seems to have found the energy she lacked in that encounter.
As she tried to explain her point that “The Democrats appear to be content with losing” (In Iraq), Rahm Emmanuel, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, demanded she “take back” her comment. But, Mrs. Dole stood her ground and tried to explain herself as both Emmanuel and Tim Russert, the show’s moderator, kept interrupting her.
Good job, Senator.

Notice what happens when a mild mannered, moderate Republican is a bit partisian. Boy the truth sends these media types and Dems to the ramparts. “We do not want to lose”! Despite everythng they say and do leads to that conclusion. Ask the stupid troops (Kerry)in Iraq what they think.

Losing It…
Err… Dan? It’s the Republicans who lost the war in Iraq. The debacle is their fault — and the Democrats in Congress who failed to make a larger stink — and no one else’s…….

The only way the US loses is if it gives up as in Vietnam - Democrat “victory”. I wish that she had suggested that Rahm strategically redeploy to the hallway since his presence was raising tensions on the set.
