Could they do anything but? If you caution any gay Democrats’ enthusiasm over what the election results mean by looking at the narrow margins in the races which led up to the Senate… it’s dismissed.

If you argue it wasn’t all about the war in Iraq –opps, the policing action in Iraq (gotta get with the Democrats’ lingo)– and that it was about failures in Congressional leadership, party leadership, moving away from GOP bedrock principles, etc– you will get boo-ed. “NO, it was all about the BushCo’s war to avenge his Daddie’s honor. No WMDs. Fire Cheney!”

Gloat is an apt term, Chase. If you don’t like what your pals on the radical GayLeft are doing… tell ‘em. Frankly, I think we should follow the lead of our TWICE-elected President Geo Bush: get over it, go to work, reach out to willing Democrats, move forward.

Okay -- I'll bite.

1. The theory of the "unitary executive".
I'm surprised the first three Presidents have not
started haunting the White House over that one.

2. Congress not doing it's constitutional duty to
provide oversight of the executive branch. (See below.)

3. Gutting the fourth amendment

4. Having the president say : "A dictatorship would be a heck of a
lot easier, there's no question about it." -- And mean it.
