For the third striaght year in a row, GayPatriot has been nominated as Best LGBT Blog in the annual Weblog Awards.
Last year and the year before, Dan and I actively campaigned in the vote. This year, we’d simply like to thank our great readers for their support of our blog and the confidence you have put in us. We both agree that the nomination is an honor, but we don’t have the time to put into campaigning.
Thanks to all of our readers for this triple honor!
Here’s some good news for those of us longing for strong leadership in our next President.
On the Republican primary side, the two frontrunners remain unchanged from previous polling: Giuliani (30 percent) and McCain (23 percent) far outdistance the competition. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (9 percent) and Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney (8 percent) are the only other contenders who register above 3 percent.
And here is an interesting piece of data….
In head-to-head matchups, Giuliani has a 9-point and McCain an 8-point edge over Clinton.
Well, well, well.
