If it IS 1968 again…

as PajamasMedia suggests

…doesn’t that mean some poor young woman will drown in a car accident next year while the driver leaves the scene?

  1. kinda itches under you skin like chigger that Republicans don’t control congress anymore, doesn’t it?

  2. Actually not at all. Now the Democrats can share the accountability of our nation’s security.

History will record that there were no attacks on our homeland after 9/11 when the Republicans controlled all branches of government.

Will that trend continue under a Democrat Congress?

We will find out. But you cannot deny historical fact now.

  3. Ahhh… I love it when people are reminded that Ted Kennedy fled the scene of an accident he caused while drunk driving and left a woman to drown to death.

Since that date, Ted Kennedy has continued to “serve” the people of Massachusetts in the Senate.

I swear to God, if there was some freak accident and I found myself in the Senate, and there was a gun control measure up… I’d mention that the vast majority of Americans’ guns has killed less people than Ted Kennedy and his car has.

  4. “Will that trend continue under a Democrat Congress?”

Sounds like now that repubs are in control, the right wing is hoping for another terrorist attack.
    Why do you hate America?

That’s a helluva limb you climbed out on.

No. al-Qaeda won’t attack the party that hates America and her military as much as they do. Besides, they’re glad the liberals won.

  7. I disagree, TGC; now is a great time for a terrorist attack, because they know the Democratic Congress will a) block any attempt to track or catch terrorists before they kill Americans and b) blame Americans for provoking it when we are attacked.

Do we hope for it, keogh? Hell no. Do we expect it? Hell yes.

  9. #2 and #7. Of course you want it!! And you will be so happy if something awful does happen. You love The World War Three. Terrorist organizations all around the world have just been waiting for Nancy Pelosi to be Speaker, too.

“History will record that there were no attacks on our homeland after 9/11 when the Republicans controlled all branches of government.” Spurious and specious. But whatever makes you feel better on what must be an awful day for you.

#3. I’ve seen that bumpersticker, too. Quite profound. How many ex-boyfriends have died as a result of Laura Bush’s car?

#7. When our own government and military reports, which have emerged from a Republican dominated government, indicate that this circus in Iraq has created more terrorists, are they too blaming Americans for provoking terrorism? The nonsense that you people come up with is, I am starting to figure out, really satire, right?

  10. Bruce, I doubt it’s 1968 or anything like it; they oppose the mission but support the troops… right? What the House Democrats’ press conference and 100 Days Agenda prove is that they’ll be pressed from within by the radical Left of their own party to move away from the political center. And the GayLeftBorgTypes here –the lower case clan– are seething and chomping at their own junkyard leashes to let em have it.

Some loyalists within the party are already saying the 100 Days Agenda of minimum wage, “ethics” reform et al is a pretty weak STARTING point. CindyZeroSheehan proves that with her scream for attention at the press conference. The GOP has never had the kind of violent litmus tests applied to its members that await the Dem leadership by the Democrats’ resident bomb throwers. Conyers on impeachment? Dingell on raising CAFE standards? Hoyer on beating up BigOil? Any Democrat on immigration reform? Ha. It’s going to be a great 2 years.

Actually, they only have about 6 months… because the campaigning will begin in earnest for 2008 and I don’t mean the White House.

    “LOL” followed by a “:)” ?
Kind of overkill to show your false glee dont ya think?

And Matt, if memory serves me correctly you made some rather off base predictions regarding Iraq and the 2006 election.
So lets just wait and see.

  12. When I saw Mama Moobat engage in a shout-in directed at Rep. Rahm Emanuel, I could tell how uncomfortable he was that someone in his own base could be making those threats at him. To the Dhimmicrats, this sort of thing should only happen to Republicans.

He just slinked away, turned tail and ran for cover. Sort of like what his party wants to do in the War on Terror. But I digress.

Actually, it is quite amusing. Sheehan is now the Dhimmicrats’ problem, since as Kevin, 401k, seannyboy and the other libtrolls point out, they are in control of Congress under the baton of SS Frau Nazi Pelosi.

However, if I were Mama Moonbat, I’d get a core of Code Pinkos around me quick as bodyguards. You don’t cross the Dhimmis on Capitol Hill. You may end up in Fort Marcie Park under mysterious circumstances. Trust me, there is a precedent for that!

This is gonna be fun watching this party self-destruct. Hehehehehe!!!

    Regards,
    Peter H.

  13. When our own government and military reports, which have emerged from a Republican dominated government, indicate that this circus in Iraq has created more terrorists, are they too blaming Americans for provoking terrorism?

The problem is, keogh, that your logic only works if doing nothing produces no terrorists.

As we saw on 9/11, it didn’t take the war in Iraq to produce more than enough terrorists. All it took was sitting on our hands, as you want us to do, and ignoring terrorist activity, as you also want us to do.

What you and yours need to figure out is that terrorism is not a rational activity. Your leftist view that the United States is always to blame confuses you into thinking that terrorism is a rational response to our “wronging” of others, real or imagined.

Your support of Hizbollah is a good example. Hizbollah has made it clear why they do what they do; they want the Jews erased. They refuse to talk, negotiate, or do anything else; they want them gone or dead (preferably both).

And what do you do? Come up with reasons for why the Jews should be erased and made gone or dead, because obviously (to you) their demand is rational.

These people know full well, keogh, that you Democrats think so little of yourself, the United States, and our motivations that, if they came storming into your bedroom at night to kill you, you’d turn on the light so they could take better aim.

    And that’s why they’re rejoicing.

Of course you want it!! And you will be so happy if something awful does happen.

Hey, you’re the team killing F-tards who want to bring the troops home so they can all die with their families and the few survivors can watch the transformation into the United Muslim States.
The reality is that there are those who want to saw off your Buddy Cole head and sh*t down your neck. There are also those who want to stop them. But you’re more worried about sucking the c*cks of the former and destroying the latter.

When our own government and military reports, which have emerged from a Republican dominated government, indicate that this circus in Iraq has created more terrorists,

That was one CYA document that always says “on the one hand A, but on the other hand B”. You and the other liberal oxygen thieves saw A, it fit your agenda and you ran with it. That clearly shows that neither you nor the other wastes of space have any clear idea what’s going on.

If you’re so worried about terrorists, you should be the first to condemn that John-In-Chief, lord BJ. Your comments suggest otherwise.

  15. Further, there are governement documents which have emerged from a Republican dominated government that show that we’ve captured or killed over 5,000 of your buddies.

Can your sweet lord BJ make that claim? I thought so.
