Brokeback, Dreamgirls and Jake

January 15, 2007 by GayPatriot

In case you missed it on Saturday Night Live, here’s Jake Gyllenhaal’s opening monologue which features gay cowboys and a diva.

By the way, Jake and Justin Timberlake are two of the best hosts SNL has had in a long time.  Awesome comedic timing!

I’m not sure if I love it or I hate, but in either case, that Jake boy is damned impressive!

That was freakin’ HILARIOUS! Kudos to Jake for having the guts to do such a skit.

And damn, he’s got some GUNS on him…whoa…

I’ve seen better drag shows in Laredo, TX. Good singing though.

In Laredo?? Out in the sticks?? Do tell.

I mean, you can go to Houston, Dallas or San Antone for some fun drag shows, but Laredo?? I’m in shock.

Add Alec Baldwin to that list of fun, brave, talented hosts.

    Door – Agreed.

And Baldwin is fantastic in “30 Rock.” Now if he could just keep his wacky political views to himself…..

Oh crap. PLEASE don’t tell me Alec is joined at the hips with Streisand/Sarandon/O’Donnel et al. Just. Don’t. (Come to think of it, wasn’t he among those threatening to move out of the country when we re-elected Bush?) Any-hoo, on slightly related note, while looking for a particular DVD I noticed an SNL “Best of Alec Baldwin” DVD. Maybe he stayed to promote the DVD. (Ri-i-i-ight … )

#10 – Yep, Alec is redder than a ruby grapefruit, but his li’l brother Billy is a dyed-in-the-wool conservative trying to distance himself from his big bro’s foibles.

I sent Alec a letter asking him if he’d like for me to pony up some money for him to move to Canada, but no word back from him yet…
