#8 thanks. This congress has the lowest approval ratings ever recorded I think. Certainly lower than any the Republicans ever had. Republicans should be out there capitalizing on it, telling the American people theyre right to dislike this congress and reminding them of all the many reasons why.

Im writing the republican leadership and asking why the hell they arent.

I agree with Will 100%! I have written the RNC asking if anyone remembered to shut off the lights since it is obvious no one is at home. The leftist politicians can levy ANY unsubstantiated charges against the ‘evil’ Mr. Bush and the media runs with the story as if it were indisputable fact. We know the scene which will no doubt carry a dem into the WH. BUT, I sure as hell wish the RNC and the ‘wobbly’ Republicans would at least go down fighting. I have never witnessed such a group of weak politicians who, rather than stand and fight for principles, stand ready to join their arrogant counterparts to accomplish one hope…to get re-elected. That will fail also since no one votes for a loser in mind and spirit. Mel Martinez’s selection as head of the RNC is about the dumbest thing the Party has done to ‘cement’ the weak image once and for all. He needs replacement immediately.

All of the above spells DEFEAT unless someone with fire in their bellies soon resuscitates a dying patient. Here’s hoping…..

Imagine if a Republican partisan, after his criticisms of a Democratic president had been shown to be false, being invited to testify before a congressional committee. The MSM would be in an uproar, but they seem to have uttered barely a peep at Mr. Wilson’s appearance yesterday.

If we are waiting on the MSM to report the truth or be anything but complete shills for the Democratic party, we will waiting, in the minority, for a very, very long time.

The question I want answered is
WHERE
ARE
REPUBLICANS????

Our party has absolutely no leadership whatsoever right now. Democrats have sold the right to a secret ballot for campaign contributions, have made pork barrel spending even more secret and taken away the power for Republicans to vote against it away, one of their most senior senators and a member of leadership, Dianne Feinstein has been steering millions in military contracts to her husband, William Jefferson has been indicted on 16 counts and still sits and votes while Tom Delay has the partisan indictments thrown out and upheald and is forced to resign, Jim Mcdermott is found guilty in a court of law and he not only sits and votes, but he has the gall to call for the impeachment of the President, Democrats push an energy bill that would drive the price of gas UP costing Americans billions of dollars, while simultaneously allowing tax cuts to expire, amounting to the biggest tax increase in history, and last but not least, are blatantly, demonstrably trying to undermine the war and cause our defeat for their political gain….

and the silence from Republicans is deafening!

The Basic Law of Reality is this: GWB and the Republicans are THE FOUNT OF ALL EVIL IN THE WORLD. Consequently, by definition, they do anything and everything that is evil and anything and everything they do is evil. End of story. Simple, no?

If there is an evil they have not yet been accused of, it is likely because of their fascist oil-fuelled theocratic chilling effect on truthseekers, or they are so DIABOLICALLY clever that they have hidden it.
