Liberals’ “Support The Troops & Patriotism” Week

Glenn Greenwald, October 25, 2007:  “And it shows, as the Army’s behavior in the Beauchamp case is exactly what one would expect from an increasingly politicized, Republican-controlled division of the right-wing noise machine.”

Ted Rall, October 22, 2007:  “In 2007, Americans were dumber than dirt.  Over time, however, the endless war in Iraq began to play a role in natural selection.  Only idiots signed up; only idiots died.  Back home, the average IQ soared.”

You can’t blame them though…. they are only following the 30-year campaign of Democrat Party political leaders.

  3. Who are also Democrats. Fits the pattern.

  4. Oh yes, Democrats hate American and the troops. Yawn.

Do you guys even know anyone serving in Iraq now?

    Comment by Houndentenor — October 26, 2007 @ 11:40 am - October 26, 2007

  5. Indeed, I have a loved one there now.

    How about you, HT?

  6. Oh, and a good friend of mine has a loved one there too.

  7. Quite a few, actually. Both military and civilian Americans putting their lives at risk to stop the spread of Islamic fascism.

  8. My best friend from college just got back from Iraq. Several people from my church are serving there now.

  9. Hound-

These are liberals & Democrats own statements. Are you denying the evidence?

    Comment by GayPatriot — October 26, 2007 @ 11:56 am - October 26, 2007

  10. Are you denying the evidence?

No, just using the usual lefty “attack and divert” tactic.

GP, don’t forget John Murtha, who slandered Marines as war criminals for defending themselves at Haditha.

  12. Thanks for posting this. People always think I’m crazy when I show them this evidence. It’s nice to know I’m not alone. The Rall cartoon was disgusting, so I made sure to share it with everyone I know, so they’ll see him for what he really is.

  13. Ted Rall must be one of the most loathsome pieces of crap to ever befoul the face of the earth. Many of his comments and cartoons over the years put him on the same level as the Fred Phelps/God Hates Fags crowd.

The man is living proof that it’s possible to have you-know-what for brains.

If I had an extra bob or two, I’d send him a one-way ticket to Cuba.

  14. I’m reminded of a comment in National Lampoon years ago (I think it was P.J. O’Rourke).

I can’t remember who he was writing about but he said that [someone] “was proof that man is given a limited number of thoughts”.

Some of these libs ran out of “thoughts” a long, long time ago.

  15. The author of I Wanna Go Home, Karridine, has authorized me to give away 1,000 free copies of the song to our men and women in the military for personal use only. However, recipients of a free copy can let anybody listen to it if they want. Members of the military can put it on their i-pod, use it on their computer, or make one CD.

You can find out how to get a free copy at 1,000 Free Copies.

If you want a copy for review e-mail me. My e-mail address is on the sidebar.

  16. One of the best reviews of what we know so far, in l’affaire Beauchamp:

TNR is pathetic. And by extension, so are its defenders.

  17. Thanks for the reminder of who really are mean spirited and are the haters. Liberals squeal all the time about how unfairly treated they are. They can’t stand it when you use their own words against them.

    Comment by Gene in Pennsylvania — October 27, 2007 @ 11:42 pm - October 27, 2007

  18. If Mrs. Clinton is the Democrat nominee one of the first questions I’d like answered is:
how many times she has visited military bases, hospitals to visit the troops and lend support. How many times has she traveled over seas to visit any bases or troops to lend support. We know as first lady she wanted to eliminate the Marines from the White House duty. She needs also needs to be asked if she still holds that view and would she kick them out if elected President. If elected President while not serving herself or her husband in the military, would she feel like a chicken hawk if she had to send troops into harms way as President. How would she react if leftists called her a chicken hawk.

  20. EEGPD (Ear to Ear Grin Piece of the Day): Ordinary Democrats frustrated by their party’s inability to bring about American defeat in Iraq.

I loved this bit, among others:

U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings, D-Miramar, said… Democrats in Congress are trying to change the war, but are running into opposition from Republicans… [ed: poooor babies!!!!]

Instead of lobbying Democrats, Hastings said, activists like Cindy Sheehan need to go into the red states and work on Republicans…

Good luck with that, Cindy and Alcee. Knock yourselves out. Give it the ol’ college try; see what happens.
