This is news today..

At least one woman was suffering from shock after three Kassam rockets were fired at Sderot late Sunday morning, Israel Radio reported. One of the rockets hit a house and another hit an electrical line, causing a complete blackout in the western Negev town.

The siren system and 106 emergency hotline were offline following the attack, leaving the town's residents without even the means to prepare in case another rocket salvo would follow later in the day, the town's press representative told The Jerusalem Post.

#4

These are teh facts

- Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza 1-2 years ago. Kicked out all the settlers and left behind some economic facilities like greenhouses

- On the very day Israel left, HAMAS destroyed the greenhouses and began firing rockets into Israel proper.

- HAMAS has been basically shelling Israel EVERY SINGLE DAY since then.

EVERY DAY (nearly)

A month or two ago, Israel declared Gaza to be a hostile entity.

Last week the Cabinet decied that every time a rocket gets launched to Israel, Israel will shut off electicity for a whopping 15 minutes. with an increasing length of time for shut-off if more rockets get launched up to a maximum of 3 hours of power cut off.

Those aare the facts.

I am pro-Israel myself. Too much time as a hired hand in reform Temple choirs, I guess. But there is a lot of media bias around the globe in the coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. So much so it's hard to know what is really going on. Does anyone report on this story without some bias? (I'm not asking rhetorically. I would like to read something that I thought was just fact based and not slanted one way or the other.)

The only thing the UN is interested in disarming is the United States.

Anyone who shoots at Israel is fine by them -- and anyone who threatens to wipe Israel out of existence is hunky-dory.

Honest reporter? What's that? Reporting used to be, telling the news as it happened. Nowadays it's all about changing the world, opining instead of reporting.
There are two evils in the world, America the big Satan and Israel the little Satan. In order to indoctrinate the public, one mustn't tell the truth, one must keep the lie going that Israel is to blame for all that is wrong with the Palestinians. So Israel pulled out, left 2 years ago, and the place became a hell hole. Well, more of a hell hole than it was before.
Gaza was never a model of anything. Those greenhouse you mentioned? I worked in them when they were new, and I was a Settler. There wasn't much to like about our Arab neighbors, especially when it came to human rights. Honor killing of women was very common, and although Israel 'controlled' the strip at the time, they tried not to get involved with a lot of the internal workings of the society.

So now the world is upset that Israel may use economic sanctions against missiles. How about using missiles against missiles, wouldn't that be a little more fair?

Nissenbaum, (gee he sounds Jewish) is just doing his part, paving the way for Islamofacism and hate to take over the world. It is clear that there is absolutely no legitimate reaction to missiles landing in a civilian town. All the Israelis can do, is sit there and take it.
