Tammy Bruce talked about why her philosophy as a lesbian and a conservative doesn’t always make her welcome in feminist circles. She discussed other contemporary issues including conservatism, higher education, religion, and her criticisms of liberals. After her presentation she responded to audience members’ questions.

Tammy Bruce is the author of The New American Revolution, The Death of Right and Wrong, and The New Thought Police.

The event, called “The Left as Hypocrites: How They Don’t Practice What They Preach,” was part of a seminar on “Deconstructing the Left” that was held for college students at the Reagan Ranch Center.

This pairs with the recent survey that showed pluralities of Democrats believe that the US Government was involved in the 9-11 attacks. Paranoid delusion is a form of mental illness, and as we’ve seen in the sinestrosphere, a lot of the more prominent lefty bloggers believe that George Bush is tapping their phone calls, and the USA has become a fascist police state. They are, of course, immune to the contradiction that if the USA were a fascist police state, no one would be blogging that it was.

And then there’s the paranoid delusion that Republicans would be happy to see gay folk exterminated, and that camps in the Pacific Northwest have already been prepared for this purpose, but we won’t get into that.
