UPDATE: Just heard from Steve Smith, Southern California Gay Outreach Director and Deputy Political Director for Obama’s California campaign, who’ll also be joining for a few minutes tonight. Steve was the first openly gay member of the Democratic National Committee.

Bruce, sorry I haven’t had much time to participate. I listened to the last podcast you guys did and believe you guys did a great job. Kudos to the guests as well. I look forward to downloading this one and listening to it when I can. Take care.

Off Topic – But pretty fun, in an “Isn’t Red-on-Red Violence Grand?” sort of way
Looks like Andrew Sullivan is about to be burned for his predictable and stupid endorsement of Ron Paul, conspiracy nut-bigot.
The source for the new claims on Paul is, TNR (The New Republic). It’s not a source I respect. But it’s a source that Sullivan not only respects, but has wrongly, persistently, bitterly defended in the Scott Beauchamp farce.

Beautimous. Additionally, it’s seemed odd to me that Paul is “the real conservative”, but it doesn’t seem like the Ronulans are real conservatives. More like Alex Jones fans.
