Obama will receive 13 delegates to the national convention, Hillary will receive 12. Thus, Obama has won the Nevada Caucus. Hillary's popular vote win, much like Mr. Gore's in 2000, is a vanity victory only. Mrs. Clinton will likely get 1 or 2 more delegates. Obama's weakness among latino's was not nearly as strong as Mrs. Clinton's weakness among blacks. 83% of the black vote went for Obama! If he continues to deliver numbers like that, he'll take most of the southern primaries where blacks account for much more of the democratic vote. The latino vote could be problematic in California for Mr. Obama. Nevada’s delegates are proportional, so I don’t see 51-45% as a big loss for Mr. Obama.
