WOW I FORGOT HOW POWERFUL HE WAS.  WE WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER

He had great speech writers and honed that delivery after decades of Hollywood, Burbank (TV) and the rubber chicken circuit (Lincoln Day dinners).  He should have been given an Oscar for his Presidency; he and Nancy made it look "easy".  It was THE performance of the century.

Makes the current crop of candidates look extremely small in comparison.  You weren’t perfect, but I do miss you Ronnie…

    Wow.

And I wish some people – one or two of them even on this blog – could watch this clip about 1000 times, until they finally absorb the message or *ideas* that made Reagan’s leadership great.

#2 – Translation: Reagan’s Presidency was just showmanship.  Bzzzzt.  Wrong answer.  Too bad you don’t get it, MM.

Beautiful.  Like Obama, Reagan had a cadence to his speech that makes it possible to set to music.  It’s part of their secret sauce.

The difference is that when Reagan spoke, he actually said something. Folks knew what he was talking about whereas Obama supporters cream their panties because they’re surprised a black man can speak without ebonics.

And of course liberals are so surprised to see a "articulate and clean" black man.  Not to mention the fact that they’re wracked with White Guilt and they see a golden Pharisee-ish moment when they can brag about voting for a black man to all their "black friends" and feel better about themselves. How shallow.

I think "Magic Negro" is the best analysis or description of the Obama phenomenon.  For those unfamiliar with the concept: Spike Lee (I think) coined it, to describe a certain stock character in American movies – think Morgan Freeman, or Sidney Poitier, or Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost – an African-American who is wise, kind, perhaps supernatural, and who has little other purpose but to help the white main characters – while giving no appearance of being a slave, of course, and indeed while assuaging white guilt over slavery.  Liberals who’ve grown up on such movies yearn for such a friend.

Umm, ILC/Calarato, don’t let my words get in YOUR way of misconstruing, distortions and dysfunctional spinfests… but you’re the only one wrong… again.  I swear, that BeLikeBillClinton handbook of yours must be well-worn by your use.

I said they made it look easy and for that, ThreadNanny and HallMonitorExtraOrdinaire, you can put your buzzer away.  Too bad you can’t see past your baggage and prejudice.  What a waste.

ILC/Calarato/ThreadNanny, your comprehension skills rival a peanut.  No, you still have it wrong and that means you’re batting about .025 on AdorationHour of Ronnie.

Try a new handle and try again, sport.

May your memory be eternal, o Ronaldus Magnus.

This was the greatest President since Lincoln, in my opinion.  FDR couldn’t hold a candle to him.

    Regards,
