The funny part has been watching the Party members establish the entitlement hierarchy, i.e. making it clear that white males are the bottom of the totem pole, followed by Hispanic males (they look too white, perhaps?).

Blacks like Todd Stroger and his friends control the County and his ally Emil Jones, Jr. is President of the Illinois Senate.

Also, the slimebag Rezko was really close with the Illinois Democratic Government Blagovich.

So I think Obama ran with the County / State corruption as opposed to City of Chicago.

I just see her fighting for something she has wanted all her life.

How pathetic is that? To spend your entire life building up to that? Only hanging out with the "right people", marrying the "right" guy, doing everything in your life to get there? To groom entire life to run for president. And then if she loses? That would suck. I’ll bet anything she hasn’t spent a similar amount of thought on that eventuality.

Obama should be able to put her away, he has the money, the media, and the surge on his side.

For now. Eventually the honeymoon is going to end, most likely before the convention. At some point folks are going to want to know how a politician comes out of Chicago smelling as sweet as he thinks he does. Eventually folks are going to want to know what part he has had in the old Daley Machine. Eventually folks are going to want to know what exactly hope and change means.

So far, Obama’s been insulated from questions and critique because he’s black. I doubt that will last. Clearly the RNC has shown it doesn’t stow the gear necessary to do it and I’m not so sure McCain does. Surviving the Hanoi Hilton is one thing, but daring to question/criticize a black man in uber PC America is "an entirely different kind of flying altogether".

And, Dan, you’re being far too kind to the media.  Much of the mainstream media has openly promoted Obama.  Some of the leftists on NBC and MSNBC even admit their bias.

On the right, Fox News Channel’s far-right pit bull Sean Hannity is given six prime time hours a week to bash Senator Clinton, often with the help of Hillary-hater Dick Morris.

Often, the bias is hardly-noticed.  One night on Wolf Blitzer’s Situation Room on CNN, Blitzer was reporting on how many votes had been missed by Senators running for the presidency.  As I recall the graphic, McCain had missed the most votes, followed by Obama.  In both cases, Blitzer simply said what percentage McCain had missed and what percentage Obama had missed.  But when he got to Senator Clinton, who had missed the fewest votes, he changed the take on the issue, saying, "Look at this, Senator Clinton was present to vote only 75 percent of the time."  Blitzer had made a positive sound like a negative.

Doesn’t sound like much, but things like that are done night after night on all the networks.  

It is great seeing the Dems being hoisted up by their beloved media,  who always goes hand in hand with the will of the party. Did the Dems help create a monster they can’t control?  Has the media decided it’s time to flex their own muscle and anoint our next president?

As for Hillary’s marriage – I agree with ILC, she is a full partner in it. She is giving the worst example possible to all woman about modern marriage. The contempt Bill has shown to the women he ‘used and abused’, is nothing like the treatment Hilary has willingly put up with. She bought into, its’ the price she’d pay for her own power. And now all she has left is to resort to tears and whine about how hard it is to be a woman. Please, trade places with an African, or muslim woman for one month, then come back and whine to me.

I don’t see as tired or overly anger, I just see her fighting for something she has wanted all her life. I just see this a plus if she surives, McCain’s comeback will pale in comparsion to her’s. Obama should be able to put her away, he has the money, the media, and the surge on his side. If he can’t beat her now, why should anyone believe he could beat John McCain?

BOO-FRIKKIN-HOO for Hillary.   She was the Karl Rove of Bill Clinton’s systematic imposition of the "politics of personal destruction" in the 1990s.  I have NO sympathy for her now that her own kind are eating her alive.

Finally, I would have had a lot more respect for her as a leader and a strong woman if she had in 1997… held a press conference in the Rose Garden… and carried her luggage out of the White House and divorced Bill.  

Instead, she is using him to bank on a "Third Clinton Term" – God forbid.    Obama v. McCain ain’t a great choice for me…. but the faster and farther this country gets away from the Clintons… the better.
