The Best Thing about the Spitzer Scandal

March 15, 2008 by GayPatriotWest

Isn’t it nice to have a politician embroiled in a sex scandal which gets national media attention and does not involve gay sex?

Actually, I find it very interesting this site is keeping quite silent on this week’s revelation of the venomous anti-gay hate speech by Oklahoma Sate Rep. Sally Kern, say (among other things) that gays are the biggest threat to this country, even more so than terrorism, that we indoctrinate children as young as 2 to make them gay and that gays are infiltrating city councils as (gasp) elected officials!  It’s interesting that Ms. Kern supposedly has all kinds of facts and studies to support the statements she made.

Um, Kevin, first of all, I never heard of these comments until your comment. Second, your comment has nothing to do with the post to which it’s attached. Third, you’re talking about a state rep, hardly someone in the national spotlight, saying some (if what you report is true) some very stupid things.  We just don’t have time to address every comment by every kook in the country.

So why don’t you try to engage us on the issues we address rather than fault us for failing to consider every crazy anti-gay comment ever made.
But then I guess it’s easier to insult than it is to engage.

Spitzer’s hypocrisy and the fact that he could spend $5K/hour on a hooker is what got the story going. What in the world do you get for that kind of money? Does the fee include props?

BTW: while Kevin’s post was off-topic, the aforementioned state rep did indeed utter this nonsense (see Tulsa World).

Sometimes, I am ashamed to be an Okie.

So, now we know what $%k/hr will get you from a "pro."

The only lingering question do listeners of those on the lecture circuit get the same satifaction when they pay upwards of $50k/hr to hear Bill Clinton, Al Gore, et al ?

2:  I think folks here can exert their time and effort to spend time doing things like trying to link Fred Phelps to all democrats, you might take a little time to respond to / have responses about this kook.  She’s a Republican, she said homosexuals were worse than terrorists and then tried to refute her statements by saying "that while she disagrees with the homosexual lifestyle, she doesn’t hate homosexuals".  And what exactly makes it a national story?  I’ve seen it on several outlets, the main story being distributed from AP.  Half the items posted here rag on the evil MSM for not reporting something.  What’s even more interesting (ie scary) is that she was apparently applauded in a private meeting for her comments by all the republican representative in the OK legislature.  yeah, that’s all pretty insignificant.

says the KOShole who has no problem associating all Republicans with Falwell, Hagee, Robertson etc. and can’t figure out the hubub over Jerimiah Wrigh’s documented comments.

Yeah, but the coverage is all wrong. The real problem is not the sex. As I said elsewhere, it’s (1) the money laundering, (2) the apparent longstanding collusion with criminal enterprises, and (3) possibly more. The media is once again giving a Democrat a pass, by emphasizing "red herring" issues.

ILC, fair point. Maybe I should have then said that it’s a scandal involving sex.

This corruption and wrongdoing in this Democrat party is rampant. We are still waiting for all the other crooks to have their day in court. Regarding the Obama family preacher scandal…we know many Democrats have not hidden their hatred of their home country which has afforded them so many liberties. When the rocks are turned over occasionally, the sunshine must pain them dearly. Can we please have the MSM quiz Ms. Obama to find out if she agrees with her preacher on his anti American tirades? Considering her never, ever, once being proud of being an American til this year during her husbands campaign, I think it is appropriate.

Or whether both Orgasmas agree with his racist and anti-Semitic comments. The mere fact that a preacher would say "goddamn" three times in a minute or "I love the hell out of Jesus" would be enough for me to walk out. That and the notion that Jesus was black.

The best thing is that NY gets to exchange a disastrous governor with a competent new one.Â
