Since the Democrats took back Congress, gasoline and oil prices have skyrocketed and the poor are suffering. Since the Democrats callously raised the minimum wage, unemployment and prices have risen out of control. While payroll taxes have increased to the government. Where is the accountablity? Since the Democrats have controlled Congress and forced farmers to produce corn for ethanol, less farmland is available for food stuffs and prices have gone up substantially. If the Democrats would have listened to Bush 43, seven years ago, new Alaskan oil would be coming on line now to the tune of a million barrells a day. Enough to totally end Venezuelas oil exports to the USA or more than cut in half Saudi's exports to the USA. Now what would that do to the price of oil and gasoline? This isn't rocket science, when will the media hold these moronic polititians accountable.

But that won’t prevent some Democrats from getting all atwitter about it.

It's another excuse to waste the people's time and money instead of doing anything meaningful. Weren't we promised change back in 06?

Karl Rove is to be highly complimented for the job he does on Fox News as a political analyst.

When it was first announced that he was joining the network I expected him to be highly partisan, considering his background. But I was plesantly surprised; he's been very professional, objective and fair. With his background in political campaigns, he is by far the most interesting of the networks' analysts because of the insights he provides. (Just wish Fox's Dick Morris had the sense to take a lesson from Rove.)

So far, the only time I've witnessed any partisanship is when he's had to respond to a direct question by one of the Fox talking heads.

It must be killing leftist bloggers not to be able to attack him his performance as an analyst.

Karl Rove is a statistician. Politics is a contest of statistics. As an effigy Rove is unlikely but there ya go. Wake up, dufi. For one thing, Karl's job isn't all that tough. He is far from irreplaceable and far from a genius but you make Brand Rove the Coca Cola of electoral advisors with your nattering. So keep it up, as you should keep up the kvetching about Bush even as the Bushies embark on their PR counteroffensive. What, you didn't know of such a thing? You don't need to be Karl Rove to know that NOW is the optimum moment.
