and yes, unabated name calling continues to keep political debate on a high level.

and yes, Kevin's unabated dodging of questions continues to keep political debate on a high level.

There. Fixed it for ya. Just by reading your comments, I'd think you'd be more honest.

LOL....well, Kevin, if the program is wrong, why are your Democrat congresspersons taking advantage of it?

You really will defend anything your plantation masters do no matter how hypocritical it makes you look, won't you?

#6 - Kev, it shouldn't matter if it was put in under the GOP Congress or not. The point is that the Dems, in the interest of "economic fairness," should have put a stop to this the minute they took over Congress in 2007 if they believed that it was wrong and not in the country's best interest.

As such, they kept this policy in place and probably expanded it. To me, this indicates complicity through silence.

Plus, I recall that a few years ago, my own Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D) complained that she was unable to get to meetings because her chauffeur kept running late. It later turned out that her home in DC was a mere 3 blocks away from her meeting place.

I guess that makes her a "typical DC person." But I digress.

If the Dhimmicrats want to show how "compassionate" and "fair" they are with OUR money, they should lead by example. You know, the way Nancy Pelosi promised to look into rising gas prices upon becoming Speaker - when gas was only $2.15 a gallon average nationwide?

As far as the so-called "name calling" goes, the Left is one to talk, ie BusHitler, Chimpy et al. As for myself, I merely create a verbal shoe; if someone puts it on and loudly announces that it fits, that is their problem, not mine.

Regards,
Peter H.

Funny, I'm curious when this little known was put into existence? was it under a democrat or republican controlled congress? Where exactly was the digging done to find the information that it was all democrats (the article mentions 12 out of 42 congressmen in the NY/NJ area)? Did you find out the names/political affiliations of all 12? Where's the info on all members of congress using these plans. How does this compare to the members of congress expensing vehicle usage directly?

Lastly, I find it pretty funny that as much as the ever-evil main stream media, there is no problem using it to make your point against democrats.

It figures that the Dhimmicrats are the ones who are taking advantage of American taxpayers. After all, their national logo is an A$$.

Someone should analyze how much money Congressmen really make, including the value of their 'perks' - their TRUE, TOTAL compensation.

You don't want your leaders riding on a donkey do you? All of their constituents would wonder. "Why is Charlie Wrangle sitting on his donkey?" "Hey! Look at that! A Donkey riding a donkey!"

I think there should be some sort of cap on what can be leased. If someone decides to lease a car for $350, it makes him look like a pansy. (Oops, I mean wimp.) There should be no leases below $666.66. That way everyone is getting a car that befits him.

These people are so poorly paid, perked and fed under the table that they should be treated like men of distinction. Taxpayers should buy them two new cars a year and all the pork rinds they can stuff in them.

I am so proud of my Congressmen. They really know how to figure out ways to help people in need. After all, it has to pass the Ways and Means Committee and who better to get the job done than Charlie Wrangle!
