You know what’s sad? If I put this on my car, my car would probably be vandalized. Or, I would be harassed at a red light. Or, I would be run off the road. Or, accused of being a racist. You name it, and the ultra-fringe-left would be there.
LNC, are you sure lefties would vandalize you? Not that the bumper sticker is at all subtle, but it would be too subtle for many of them.
QU – Actually, doing something constructive to help or defend is the highest form of patriotism. Not whining and armchair-quarterbacking. But, taking your viewpoint as given, note how Obama already violates it. Obama is already attempting to de-legitimize all serious or non-softball questioning of him.
What a perfect bumper sticker. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been called “racist” because I won’t support Obama, even though I have legitimate reasons for questioning him.
I wouldn’t give a 3 year old keys to my car, either. Does that make me anti-youth?
You should attribute that to Jefferson like the liberals tried to attribute Howard Zinn’s quote to him.
I still much prefer my ACLU sticker “Dissent is Patrioticâ€
Maybe, but bald-faced lying isn’t.

Yes, Bruce, find a vendor to have them made. Once you pass the word to other blogs you’ll have a hot item on your hands.
Those who want to start questioning Obama will find a lot of ammo in the current issue of National Review. The issue has articles about Obama’s questionable support of Israel, his ties to a militant Islamist, etc.
Most interesting is a cover story about Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Wright, and Wright’s inspiration, the Rev. James Coyne. So much has been made of Wright’s anti-white bias that his anti-capitalism has been overlooked. Some statements by Barack and Michelle indicate they paid attention to THOSE sermons.

While, NO PREFERENCE is my voting choice this year, I would put this on my car. I agree it is very subtle and most would not get it.
Order me one, also….

#1 – LNC, it just goes to show you how “tolerant” and “nonviolent” our adversaries across the aisle really are.
Bruce, you’re confusing me here. I thought patriotism only meant questioning Republican candidates? That merely by dint of being a Democrat, your patriotic credentials were beyond cavil.

#11, Peter – my thoughts exactly. I’ve had a bumper sticker on my car, for ages, which reads:
Democratic leadership or Islamo-fascists?
I agree – it’s hard to tell
I’ve been flipped-off a handful of times, and even called an “Islamophobe”, by someone who has the same amoral belief system as Jeremiah Wright (imagine that). Ironically, leftists feel somehow entitled to display some of the most hateful, borderline treasonous messages on their cars, and see it as their “freedom of speech”. Or is that the hypocrisy you spoke of?
I’m in Seattle, I’d seriously be afraid for my car. It wouldn’t be a question of if my car would be vandalized, only how long would it take and how bad would it be.

Yea that one is pretty good…but considering I drive through Cincinnati a few times a week, not gonna do it.
I can imagine the doubletake most liberals would have in reaction to this. Talk about being hoisted upon one’s own petard! 😀

Hey guys, in the 2004 election I had a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on my inside rear window so the libtards couldn’t scrape it off. I figured if someone was stupid enough to try to break into my car it would justify me either calling 911 or dialing 9mm.
And this is in Houston, which is (or should I say used to be) Bush country.
I for one can’t wait until the McCain camp announces its VP and puts out the bumper stickers – it’s going on my inside rear window again. And the hell with the libtards’ reactions – First Amendment, baby!

There is also this one. (Except that McCain would be more like a second Ford term than a third Bush term.)
I agree that questioning any candidate is patriotic. I still much prefer my ACLU sticker “Dissent is Patriotic”

Bruce, can we buy that one someplace?

Nice Gaypatriot fund raiser I think 🙂
“I’ll buy that for a dollar!”

I dont know where LesbianNeoCon lives but the same thing would happen to us in the Soviet of Seattle if we had any of those cool bumper stickers.
