Pillars of the Modern Democratic Party
Writing on the fall of Hillary Clinton, David Weigel observes:
The modern Democratic party has a book of Genesis with two chapters: the “stolen election” of 2000 and the “war built on lies.”

Now we have a stolen nomination and disenfranchised voters thanks to the DNC.

Time to dust off the Democrat slogans from 2000 when speaking of Obama: “Selected, not elected” (superdelegate elites put him over the top, not Dem voters) and of course “Count every vote!” (poor Florida & Michigan - disenfranchized by their own supposed champions of democracy).

ThatGayConservative, #1: You really hit the nail on the head! My oldest son lives in Kansas and the state Democratic Party, dominated by Obama supporters, organized the caucuses on February 5 so that most Democrats could not attend them. In addition, no absentee ballots were not available, mlitary peronnel serving overseas could not vote in the caucuses and no provisions were made to get disabled and elderly voters to the sites. As a result, less than 40,000 (as I recall) voters participated and Obama won a majority of the delegates.
