I think John McCain is toast unless Obama makes a gaffe so huge not even the MSM can hide it. But, at this point, Obama could declare that his first act as president will be to grind all journalists into dog sausage and the press would still cheerlead for him.

It doesn’t matter who wins. Both of these guys are big government enthusiasts, both of these guys will appoint liberal judges, both of these guys support amnesty, both of these guys are clueless how a market economy works, and both of these guys have bought into to Global Warming scam hook, line, and sinker. The only question is how to organize an opposition.

Word of advice to the RINO moderates… the Democrats didn’t successfully rebuild their brand by compromising and going along.

Heading down the homestreach, will it be Orgasma or Opiddle? McCain is pelting him with specific “change” ideas and Onaysay keeps pooh poohing them while offering no solutions of his own. Will the voters finally realize that they are being romanced by an Adonis or will they go all Che over him? Only time will tell.

I thought it was interesting that Kimberly Strassel wrote a piece that was pretty much an obit for the “centrist” democrats.

Comrade Carter II still hasn’t justified over $1 TRILLION in new spending or explained how to pay for it.

Obama is either an inevitable winner, because “Anything less than full-throated support of me, the Messiah, is racist” trumps all… Or an inevitable loser, because his extreme-left positions are something only 10% of Americans can really support.

We just don’t know which. No one does. We’ll find out in November. A lot depends on whether McCain actually wants the Presidency, i.e., whether he will make a real bid for it, instead of continually trying to alienate his Republican base, shut down his own 527 allies, etc.

Well its closer than most people would think it should be with Democrats holding way ahead in paty ID…but thats just one poll and its beings rather optimistic. Rasmussen has Obama up 4, LA/Times Bloomburg has Obama up 12 and Newseek had Obama up 15 which makes it around a 6.9 average for Obama of all the lead up polls.

I think aslong as Obama is under 50 precent then things look better for McCain but the trends are looking better for Obama…

Oh well, national polls don’t mean a lot and its all about the states.

McCain will need to be well ahead in the polls to win. Obama is apparently going to have a great deal more money. His supporters are far more motivated. This means between now and November he will be able to register more voters, and come November, he will be able to get out the vote much more effectively.
