I can not believe that not one of these canidates can commit to saying they believe in equal rights for the gay community by allowing us to have the same rights as a married couple. Come on America....we need a change....a change now, but we need to have a president who will acknowledge all of us not just a those they think worthy. I am a Gay American. They are empowered to rule on the legality of statutes which they did when they overturned Prop22. However they should have stayed the results until the new initiative was either passed or defeated by the voters. Now it will be a rallying cry for judicial activism which will muddy the issue. California Polls are indicating a close call on the issue. Unless the Bradley Effect is taking place like it did in 2000 on Prop 22.
