Memo To Pelosi: PLEASE Listen to Dennis Kucinich!
I just got this high-larious email from the Re-Elect Kucinich for Congress Committee. (How the frick did I get on THAT list?)
Anyway, enjoy this laugh….
Impeachment on the House floor TODAY
Dear Friends,
Congressman Dennis Kucinich will present a single Article of Impeachment to the House of Representatives sometime between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm (EDT) today, Thursday, July 10th.
A press conference will be held today at the Cannon HOB Terrace at 2pm (EDT)
Sessions of the House of Representatives are broadcast live on C-SPAN (check your local cable listings for channel) and streamed live via the Internet (www.cspan.org).
The article of Impeachment will deal directly with President Bush fraudulently obtaining support for an attack on Iraq by creating a false case for war. Full details of the Article of Impeachment will be available after they are read on the floor of the House by Congressman Kucinich.
Please spread the word and continue to circulate the online petition that Congressman Kucinich will personally present to members of Congress.
Now, despite what you might think I would say — I HEARTILY support Impeachment proceedings. PLEASE, (not my) Speaker Pelosi… PLEASE listen to Dennis and begin hearings immediately!
Why, you may ask? Well, I see only two possible outcomes:
1 - Dick Cheney becomes President
2 - Evidence will be presented on the record in hearings that the mainstream media can’t ignore. The American public will finally hear the FACTS about the Bush Administration and the FACTS about the outstanding service of the US military that the MSM hasn’t reported since 2003.
Bring it on, baby.

Bruce, since Congress’ recent approval is at 9%, can we accuse Kucinich of piling on?
I agree - make Cheney the new president. Have him put Condi Rice on as VP. And watch the libtard nutroots’ collective empty heads explode!
The only thing really left is for someone to remove Kucinich’s alien probe from his anus.
Regards,
Peter H.

Dennis has a good plan. What did you expect this Democrat Congress to do exactly between July and November? They’ve got no plans for anything. These Impeachment proceedings will at least keep the congresspeople off the streets and out of trouble. This Democrat Congress has a 9% approval rating…when you include the margin of error it could actually be around 5%. (who exactly are those 5% ) hehe

Bruce, I have much more faith in the media’s ablility to ignore and misrepresent the facts than that.

Go, Dennis, go! I wonder if Congress’s approval ratings can go negative.

Option #3.) Democrats look like out-of-touch extremists…
In case you don’t know, Kucinich is pretty close to my district, and he has already brought impeachment procedings onto the floor at least twice and talked about it a lot more. Guess it doesn’t get a lot of play in the media outside of Cleveland. He has to go all the way to Iran to get the attention he wants.

when obama takes the helm in january, bushco will wish the dems went the impeachment route, as the immoral bushco will surely stand trial for war crimes and war profiteering.
ah, all the irony of an o henry novel…the governor who presided over the most state executions in our nation’s history hanging from the gallows for allowing his cronies to profit from the iraqi debacle.
it will be well earned.

Maybe not. Hallucinations are a side effect of Lithium.

Will Barbara Boxer, her husband and other liberals who’ve engaged in said “war profiteering” be up there too, or are they immune with the D after their names? How about Murtha for funneling money to military contractors who build shit the military neither asked for nor wants?
Speaking of Murtha, surely you wouldn’t mind investigations into Americans who’ve done their damndest to undermine the war such as Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Turban Durbin, The al-Qaeda Times, Code Pinko, Fat Bastard etc. We’ll go all the way from the top down to single individuals.
One solid Live Oak tree should be sufficient. Wouldn’t even need to burden the tax payers with bulding gallows. We can take donations for the rope.

Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, Rice and Rove belong in jail. Isn’t Cheney the President anyway? How can “C” average Bush do a job anyway? He had to get his dad to get him jobs and push him through school.
Comment by Pinky Bear — July 13, 2008 @ 12:50 am - July 13, 2008
Given that Bush had better grades than Kerry, one has to wonder what was his excuse?
And how about Ted Kennedy cheating on exams? He never would have gotten where he is without his daddy or brothers. He might have actually gone to jail for depraved indifference and vehicular manslaughter.
Wanna try again, Pinko?

Almost forgot:
Specifically for what? Not towing the liberal line is no crime. Protecting the United States is Bush’s sworn duty. He didn’t neglect that duty like the Filanderer in Chief who served before him.

#12 - TGC, don’t forget that Algore flunked out of divinity school (remember, he was trying to invent the internet at the time).
Which begs the question - how stupid do you have to be to flunk God?
Answer: see commenters #8 & 11.
That’s pretty damn stupid.

But an unintentional consequence might make McCain look like an acceptable conservative candidate and we’ll be stuck with him until 2017! I’m really hoping McCain is a one termer.

I understand Pelosi is letting the impeachment bill proceed. Please, by all means, Nancy. I am sure a futile effort at impeaching the president for winning the war is much more important to Americans than developing domestic oil reserves or fixing the economy. By all means, push this impeachment as hard as you can, and make sure you hold lots of press conferences. Lots and lots of press conferences.
