I have invited many of the LDS Guys to my home fed them and talked openly about religious Issues many of them after returning from their missions have kept in close contact with me and have stopped by from various parts of the country to tell me how much they Valued my open friendship with them. many of them knew i was gay and had no problem with my being gay. Its tough people, you cant imagine how hard and how strict the life is on young men who just want to do something good, and they are very abused hurt and rejected by the outside world. Many of them are sexually confused bewildered about having to conform to such high standards and religious ideals many of them choose after their missions to leave the church many of them become hardline religious sellouts and many of them just fade into the distance. I know i was there, but a calander was a big step for them . No big point here - Only another data point.
