Earth Prime Minister Al Gore Allows Limos To Idle
While He Speaks At Global Warming Love-In

Americans for Prosperity were there and confronted the liberal hypocrisy.  Or is it the Hypocrite Liberals?

We’re back from Al Gore’s big global warming speech, and boy did we have a great time! We had a dedicated band of taxpayer advocates out in force, pointing out the high economic cost of global warming alarmism - starting with $8 a gallon gasoline.

Of course, we saw plenty of hypocrisy — especially the fact that Gore didn’t ride his bike or take public transporation to the event.  He didn’t even take his Prius! Instead, he brought a fleet of two Lincoln Town Cars and a Chevy Suburban SUV!  Even worse, the driver of the Town Car that eventually whisked away Gore’s wife and daughter left the engine idling and the AC cranking for 20 minutes before they finally left!

Hey, if you think the car-idling is the best part of the video — WRONG!   The AFP folks peacefully confront Gore supporters and his limo driver and — well, you HAVE to watch it! I LOVE the woman who thinks a taxi cab is “public transportation”! ROFLMAO!!!

  1. An acquaintance told me of a street protest in Pennsylvania a few years ago. It seems that a cellular company wanted to install a cell site on public school property (it was on high ground). The school board favored the installation since the cell company would pay rent.

Naturally, parents were outraged that their little snowflakes would be subjected to spooky RF (never mind that the kids receive more RF exposure from microwave ovens and sitting in front of the TV for six hours a day).

Anyway, the funny part was the news report that showed several parents clutching a sign in one hand and, wait for it, a cell phone in the other.

I suppose it’s universal to think that ‘I’ have no negative impact on the environment - it’s alway Other People that have negative impact.

On the subject of Al Gore… I used to think the guy was actually pretty smart - just lacking in common sense with demagogic tendencies. I’ve come to believe that he’s still a demagogue - and a bit stupid.

  3. As for Al Gore, if there were a televangelist who went on TV everyday proclaiming that gambling and adultery would take you straight to hell… and he got caught walking into casino with a hooker on each arm… wouldn’t you begin to suspect he didn’t really believe what he was preaching?

  4. He has simply found an issue that gives him the power he surely
craves. The power to tell us what to do with our lives. The
power he couldn’t get by way of an election.

  5. Hey - Not to take the topic off liberal hypocrisy - but has anyone noticed how humorless libs are? That is, except when it comes to telling stupidly nasty “jokes” on a favored target. A state of angry hypersensitivity would seem to exclude wit, warmth and earthiness.

Well, never fear. James Taranto has noticed. In his July 17 column, he calls out the lack of Obama jokes - they’re just not allowed, in the humorless world of the earnest liberal - and invents a few.

Barack Obama and a kangaroo pull up to a gas station. The gas station attendant takes one look at the kangaroo and says, “You know, we don’t get many kangaroos here.” Barack Obama replies, “At these prices, I’m not surprised. That’s why we need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil.”

A guy asks Barack Obama, “Who was that lady I saw you with last night?” Obama replies, “I think people should lay off my wife. The notion that you can attack my family–that’s not what America is all about. It’s too easy to get caught up in these distractions.”

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from the so-called leaders of the Christian right, who have been all too eager to exploit what divides us.

For you humor-impaired libs: The above are *NOT* funny… that’s the meta-point ;-)

  6. Everyone also forgets that Algore’s company is the one that issues “carbon credits” for a nominal fee.

Big deal about the “oilman in the White House.” Someone needs to trace the money flow from Algore’s slick operations.

You could replace power with money in each of those sentences and it would still be correct. Apparently teaching and slamming down Big Macs with Krispy Kreme buns wasn’t enough for him.

  8. Right, because if you’re concerned about global warming, you must live in a hut and live without central air - take the bus to get around. What an unintelligent argument. You can do better than that, Bruce.

  9. The High Priest of the religious order of Global Warming continues to preach to his inane followers, all the while making himself millions. There is an over abundance of data disproving Global Warming, the biggest SCAM ever in the history mankind.

  10. I heard on the radio the other day that some scientific organization in Europe that had previously said that man-made global warming was a certainty, has now done a complete flip flop and now doesn’t think man-made global warming is real — says the science just isnt there. Unfortunarely was driving at the time, and by the time I was somewhere where I could write it down, I had already forgotten the name of the group.

  11. Well whaddya know, a couple tries at google and I found it. Apparently its a “major unit within” the American Physical Society.

It really is no wonder the predictions are getting more and more dire and hysterical — they know they are running out of time to pass their agenda before everyone finally finds out its all a buncha bullsh*t.

Of course both candidates have swallowed it whole. It really is a race against time: can the sane among us convince the insane — hi Pinky, hi kevin — that anthropogenic global warming is a hoax before they can destroy the United States economy in its name.

[...] Well, I guess I better stop ranting and get back to building my big boat because, you know, Florida isn’t going to be here much longer.  And for more on Al Gore’s hypocrisy, please stop here:  http://www.gaypatriot.net/2008/07/19/earth-prime-minister-al-gore-allows-limos-to-idlewhile-he-speak… [...]
