Awwwwww, puppy love! Doesn’t this just give you a tingling feeling up your leg?

UPDATE (from Dan):  Charles Krauthammer on the phenomenon

I think that the coverage [Obama is] getting is beyond presidential. It’s papal. I mean, a president never has all three anchors on the way with him this guy is being treated like . . . if you needed any evidence of how much in the tank the mainstream media were, are, this is it.

  6. Because attacking the media for being in love with Obama worked so well for the Hillary campaign…

  8. Maybe because people are excited about the idea of a Black President that will change the way things are being done.

    XXOO

  9. #8 - Whoa, snObama is black? Gee, I never knew that. (SARC)

If you are going to vote for someone because he’s black, doesn’t that make you a racist? What was it Dr. King said - something about not being judged by color but by character?

    Peter H.

  10. #8- yeah, because black political leaders have changed the “way things were done” in Detroit, New York City, and Washington D.C soooo much.

    Right?

  12. Apparently, in addition to not knowing how many states there are, and not knowing how long a person can serve as president, the Obamassiah is too stupid (or dishonest) to even know what senate committees he serves on.

  13. #10 - Dave, PB just illustrates how the MSM is reacting to snObama right now. They look at him like he’s their ticket to history.

It’s not about what Obama says. It’s how he looks. It’s his presence. They don’t care what he’s saying because he’s historic. His is a racial candidacy as far as the MSM concerned

Marxists like PB want history to be made, and the history is a black man being elected President and they want to say they did it. They don’t want to be bystanders to see if he can pull it off on his own.

Talk about being a bunch of racists. When people like Condi Rice, Michael Steele, Justice Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, Judge Janice Rodgers Brown (DC Circuit Ct App), and other African-Americans rise to success based upon their qualifications and not their color, liberals call them “Oreos,” “Uncle Toms,” “House Niggers” and other offensive names.

But heaven forbid we talk about the Obamanator’s lack of executive and legislative experience, because then WE are the racists.

Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

    Regards,
    Peter H.

  14. PB showed his real (lack of) character in the Tony Snow thread. There’s no real reason to bother with anything he writes.

  15. You guys get all this anti-Obama rhetoric out of your system, ‘cuz when he is elected you will be able to speak in hushed deferential tones about the new Messiah

  17. Say Pinko, if the Obamessiah the next JFK, does that mean the fix is in? If he wins, will that allow the Daley-ites to live vicariously through him?

    Comment by ThatGayConservative — July 24, 2008 @ 3:47 am - July 24, 2008

  18. #17 - TGC, if the Obamessiah looks in the mirror and sees JFK, maybe he should get a refresher course in history. As I recall, JFK never finished his first term in office. It had something to do with a visit to Texas.

    Just sayin’.

    Regards,
    Peter H.
