Considering you’ve made it clear that you agree with Rogers, Kevin, why should I?

This is the classic Obama defense; condemn racist statements, but when confronted with racist statements made by his wife, his supporters, and the “spiritual mentor” to whom he claims to owe all his beliefs and morality, attack the person who brought them up.

The weakness of liberal leftists like Kevin and Obama is that they cannot condemn the behavior of their fellow liberal leftists because doing so would expose them to the same sort of hate they fling at others. To that end, given Kevin’s past history of claiming that Republicans are operating death camps for gays, until he repudiates his own statement and that of Rogers’s, he shall be held accountable for both.

#34: Part one - the man’s name was Jeff Gannon. He just happened to be the one reporter in the WH press pool who asked pointed questions of the Dhimmicrats while others like Helen Thomas and David Gregory were carrying their water and echoing DNC talking points.

And if you are so insulted that he was a “male prostitute” (which is a lie), then you should really be hoppin’ mad at Mass. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Gay), whose live-in lover ran a call boy ring out of his DC residence.

Part two - This “change the record” mantra is rich coming from someone who has levelled the same accusations at the Bush Administration for almost 8 years without deviation. Pot, meet kettle.

So much for true patriotism. Part of patriotism is holding to your beliefs and goals (which many of you claim here). Seems to me that actively working to nominate a candidate by deceptive means doesn’t strike me as a patriotic; it strikes me as desperation and deceit meaning you lack any clear moral guidance. Win at any cost is more in the tradition of Mussolini, Hitler, Chavez, etc.

Yeah, you can’t really debate the real qualities of the candidates, discuss their positive and negative attributes…..just continue with name-calling as if that somehow is real political discourse. reading the mores of political discourse is about on par with watching the old Monty Python Arguement sketch.

I thought homocons were for the repeal of DADT? Sam Nunn led the charge of the minority Democrats to pass it. Boy, you all must have very short memories (and I know you’re at least as old as me). I already said on a different web site that if Obama chooses Sam Nunn as a running mate, I won’t vote for Obama.

I have a very long memory and Sam Nunn is not remembered fondly, but don’t expect me to run into the arms of the anti-gay Republicans if Obama chooses Sam Nunn as his running mate.

We know that Democrats are not good, but we are making progress on this side. Your side seems to be stepping up its anti-gay stance, so there doesn’t seem to be any reason for gay Democrats to flock to the anti-gay Republicans in spite of the Nunn factor.
