Sure, there WAS some sexism directed at Clinton during the primary--but there were other reasons she lost. Her campaign managers made crucial errors, she started out feeling that she was the inevitable choice for the nomination, and she got really ugly during the campaign. Even though she said some outrageous things during the course of the nomination process, those things rankled and made it an Obama-Clinton team impossible. However, her reactionary views--which are antithetical to Clinton's--are definitely fair game--as they will have a major impact on all of us should her team win in November.
