This Spengler Fellow Seems to Think Obama's Convention Speech Was His Campaign's Death Knell. I think that's a rather a cocky assessment, considering Obama did get a bump from the convention and is somewhat ahead in the polls.

I hope Obama does give McCain a fight. It will further rip off Obama’s mask, letting Americans measure both men.

One by one, Obama’s canards-about-himself are falling. With his Wright ties, Obama isn’t post-racial. With throwing his own grandmother under the bus, Obama isn’t a good guy. With his Rezko ties, Obama is just another sleazy Chicago machine pol. With Biden as his running mate, the classic Washington insider, Obama doesn’t represent reform or “change” at all. Now let’s see Obama take McCain on hard… blowing the lid off Obama’s “post-partisan” charade.

May I respectfully point out that michael is a small “m” michael. Some commenters make the error of trying to large “m” him.

The small “m” is a Freudian complex which is also known as fear of self esteem. michael does not want a large “m” looming over his identity. When he hits and runs, he is afraid that a large “m” will be caught in the insulation as he scurries under the refrigerator. gillie is under there too.

Obama has the thin skin of a playground loudmouth and retreat expert. He has warned McCain that if McCain is spoiling for a fight, McCain had best think it through first. Now he is telling McCain that McCain’s “temperment” needs adjustment.

Okay, what will he do when McCain invites him to step up to the lecturn and debate him one on one? Why he will set rules, of course. There can not be any “no holds barred” discussion of the facts.

Temperment? Obama has a Nero complex. When he feels vulnerable, he lets his boys rough you up. Meanwhile, he massages his ego.

The thing that rarely gets mentioned is that Katrina showed the world what a colossal failure liberalism is. The very fact that poverty exists in an old liberal stronghold should tell you something.

As far as Comrade Obama, why is it he’ll sit down and talk to terrorist despots and thugs, but has ZERO interest in talking to Americans who would make him prove himself? Seems to me his fear of the latter will be amplified when it comes to the former.

I’m beginning to think that liberalism is some sort of mental illness. I mean, here’s a former DNC chair who appears happy that the GOP convention will have to compete with a major hurricane hitting our country?!?!

The GOP ought to verify that this clip is for real and then run it all over the place.

The first comment I saw on YouTube (and the only one I read) was this:

If 1000 people die from hurricane Gustav (and I thank the gods, for sending him), it will be worth it. For the GOP convention won’t be covered much, and that will aid Obama. And more than 1000 people will be spared, since McCain can’t send them to war.

Is this idiot for f-ing real? The fact that the turd who wrote this may actually vote sends chills down my spine.

Also note how quickly he throws long time friends and allies under the bus. I know Bush has been accused of being too loyal, but I think I’ll take that loyalty any day over Obama’s insecurity.
