The Obama campaign never embraced that rumor. To my knowledge, it was brought about by the Daily Kos and that’s about as far as it got.

Replace Obama with McCain, and that sentence will be accurate. Palin’s numbers have been falling, falling, falling ever since people have figured out that she is nothing more than a woman who belongs in a library (purely physical observations, but you see my point)… though, I take that back. She’d probably burn the books!

I spent a lot of the weekend on a few Lefty sites..

Alan Colmes has decided to become the Keith Olbermann of Fox.. his blog is obsessed with every intimate detail of Palin’s family sex life.. it’s really disgusting.

He’s getting so many comments back attacking him for being so malicious and he refuses to apologize.

The Left has no idea the backlash their hate is causing.. no idea at all.

So Sully is out there having a temper tantrum

Sullivan doesn’t have temper tantrums, he has hissy fits and breakdowns.

On Friday I was almost dreading McCain’s VP announcement as all of the front runners seemed so usual, run of the mill. When the news break came across my email I was absolutely giddy. I couldn’t believe he chose Palin. I must say JSM has guts, and I think he picked a VP who can equal him in that area.

So along comes Obama, and hiding behind his race – does some pretty audacious things. Note that when Ferraro point out the truth about his candidacy – she is vilified, color always trumps gender.

Of course in the Dems playbook, the Republicans are not allowed to change theirs – even if McCain’s campaign is very astute and is ready to change the rules. So Sully is out there having a temper tantrum, how dare the Republicans do everything in their power to win.

We have no way of knowing if Sarah Palin will do a good job or not, but if John McCain had chosen either Romney or Pawlenty – no one would be talking about it. Ho Hum, politics as usual, the fact that she is garnering so much, ink, hate and discussion is the best thing possible.

Both very astute statements. Which is why the feminists are running scared right now, they never gave a hoot about average working women. It was all about the Ivy league, bitter unmarried set. So of course Hillary was their woman – she did what women of old did – slept her way to power.

Sarah Palin has done just the opposite, married a man she truly loves. Had five children, he is more than happy to be a full time dad – and is still very masculine in every way. So all these feminists are throwing all the dirt they can at a woman who did it without them and certainly without their values.

OK, by way of Allahpundit… interesting argument from Jonah Goldberg. Here are the key points. McCain-Palin can’t hope to win Hillary’s extreme, feminist-victim supporters. But they can hope to win centrist, Independent women. One way is for Palin to drop all reference to her gender, becoming more of a Margaret Thatcher figure where her gender sort of shouts out silently. (I agree so far.) Another way is for Palin to hit back, more with humor than with anger, at the Left feminists who are now trashing her. “She needs to create a wedge between [far-left] feminists and women… lightly…”
