Last week, I noted how a liberal friend “speculated I disliked Hillary Clinton because I fear strong women.” In the wake of increasing masculine affection for the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee, Helen Smith offers (what would have been) the perfect rejoinder:
I heard over and over during the Hillary and Obama race from people that “men just won’t vote for a strong woman.” Well, that’s a myth. They just won’t vote for the wrong woman.
(H/t: Helen’s husband.)
Exactly. Palin = strong woman. Hillary = corrupt and power-hungry.
Yes Virginia, they are distinguishable. A strong woman usually has a life before (or outside of) politics. Meanwhile, a corrupt, power-mad individual (man or woman) usually has a life littered with scandals and lies to the American people. Palin has the first, Hillary has the second. Palin is “Mrs. Smith Goes to Washington”; Hillary is the Washington she’s going to.
My Mother made a rather bold prediction when we were all at dinner celebrating her birthday the other night: McCain will win the election and serve one-term as President. He will then step aside to allow Palin to be the GOP’s Presidential nominee in 2012 with Bobby Jindal as her VP running mate. Her opponent? Hillary. So, she thinks in 2011, two women will be historically running AGAINST ONE ANOTHER to claim the 2012 Presidency. Obama will slink away and become another tossed-aside, lingering annoyance of his party a la John Edwards, John Kerry, Al Gore,…
I would say they are both strong women.
My problem is with the way Hillary Clinton progressed to her position of power. Hillary, the wife of the sitting President, was provided an open Senate seat in a state she did not even live in (OK, she fulfilled minimum resident requirements)… Then was provided with huge start-up resources to convince enough ‘upstaters’ that she was worthy.
Mrs Palin’s pathway was much different. She fought for and made her own opportunities. She is grassroots; more of what is needed inside the beltway. There is something genuine and real about her which is not very true for Ms Clinton.
Why lefties hate Palin.
#2, I’m all for girl-on-girl action.
#3, So true. Ultimately, Lefties hate her because they simply don’t have anyone like her.
Off Topic: A day in the life of a community organizer. Wow! Four whole items on the to-do list. Two of which involve reminding yourself how important community organizing is!
Compare with your (real job).
I think many men support Palin because she is not a doctrinaire old line feminist who see men as either criminals or fools.
Like they’ve always done (especially in the last 8 years) redefinition is the bulwark of the Republican party. (ie: torture is agressive interrogation and a fast food job is a manufacturing job). Now we get “go to any lengths to make it appear someone has more experience than they really do”.
“Executive” experience – completely laughable. Under that term, she’s more qualified than even McCain. Unwed teenage pregnant daughter? Would be completely villified had Obama/Biden had the exact same situation in their family (including the shotgun wedding). Just goes to show you how well the abstinence only education is working. I wonder if the young miss palin ever signed one of those virginity pledges? And no, I’m not attacking her – seems most teens actually know having sex feels good. That attack is directed at the conservative adults with their delusional mores.
In addition, the history of her political rise shows she is not beyond stooping low to inject non-issues into a campaign; seems that whent he town of Wasilla was growing and needed better government to handle it for things like roads and a police department, Palin decided to run a campaign that focused on abortion issues, gun control and evangelical religion.
In addition, you would now think Sarah Palin is solely responsible for keeping those Ruskies at bay off the Bering Strait.
Had McCain picked a male running mate with the experience Palin has, his supporters would have collectively dropped their mouths in horror. he’s simply pulled the “anti-hillary” out of his hat and in the next 9 weeks I suspect the overwhelming majority of people who supported Hillary and/or the liberal beliefs of the Democrats simply aren’t going to buy it. Even the fact that Hillary is officially out of the running doesn’t seem to stop the Republicans continue running a campaign against her.
And what kind of Change are Republicans talking about? From a guy who pretty much ditched his independent ideas years ago to step in line fully behind the Bush regime (only disagreeing with them for what, about 5% of the time?) When you listen to his speech the other night, he simply regurgitated the same policies 8 years of Bush and company have failed on miserably. Add to that a running-mate who doesn’t seem to publicly take responsibility for anything, but seems to label everything “God’s plan”, tried to get books banned from a public library and also used her position of power as a vendetta against her ex brother-in-law.
I’m looking forward to the Republicans using more red herrings as time goes on….
The Republican Party is the Madonna of politics

Let us pause to note the following: the ascendancy of Palin would NOT be possible without generations of progressive women preceding her. Were it not for American women insisting upon equal representation in both political and professional spheres, the current celebration of Palin’s nomination would not exist.
Given the fact that it was often past conservatives who expressed disdain for women stepping out of the proverbial home, we actually owe a debt of gratitude to past liberals and progressives. In a very real sense, Palin’s political existence is a crowning achievement of the feminist (*read liberal*) movement.
“Were it not for American women insisting upon equal representation in both political and professional spheres, the current celebration of Palin’s nomination would not exist.”
What are you talking about? There is no equal representation.
“Given the fact that it was often past conservatives who expressed disdain for women stepping out of the proverbial home”
Where is that “fact” documented?
“we actually owe a debt of gratitude to past liberals and progressives. ”
I don’t think so because to be honest, women like Barabra Boxer are the Poster Childern for locking women in the basement.
Why not be completely honest and admit that you admire Palin because she supports the right wing politics that you support, independent of issues of gay rights. Palin is clearly not supportive of gay rights–her church is sponsoring a gay “conversion” convention–and she was in support of denying gay/lesbian domestic partners state benefits. She only vetoed it when advised by the state AG that it was unconstitutional.
Regardless of these facts, it is fine to support her but it has nothing to do with gay rights–you simply find other issues more compelling, but please be honest on that. (Quite frankly, I find the self-hating, Jews supporting Hitler talking points rather stupid also.) However, stop accusing gays with left wing politics and support issues of abortion rights, racial and economic justice as not being concerned about gay issues. Those of us who are on the left are concerned about other issues and , to my mind rightly so, and we weigh these issues along with gay rights and we should be honest about that.
But please all this talk about the “strong woman” not the “wrong woman” is just rhetoric that obscures real policy choices and we should be clear about what those policy choices are and honest debates. On a similar topic, all this cheering when McCain asked whether we wanted health insurance with bureaucrats standing between a person and his/her doctor is total nonsense. The private health insurance market employees countless bureaucrats who work at denying coverage–that is their job. Again, one can come down on either side of this issue with good faith arguments, but nonsense slogans such as uttered by McCain doesn’t further rational argument.
I am also slightly amused by the convenient sidestepping of the “America First” campaign of Palin, considering her close associations with the secessionist “Alaska” first party. On a final point, can anyone here honestly doubt that if Obama had a pregnant teenage daughter the right wing blog world and media would not be endlessly pontificating about the “dysfunctional black family.”
“we actually owe a debt of gratitude to past liberals and progressives. â€
Like Margaret Sanger, who promoted abortion as a means of preventing the “inferior races” from outbreeding the white race. A view that Planned Parenthood apparently still endorses.
Or Bernadette “Mrs. Bill Ayers” Dohrn, who really thought the Manson family was where it was at. “Offing those rich pigs with their own forks and knives, and then eating a meal in the same room, far out! The Weathermen dig Charles Manson.”
thank you sarah: ““So Sambo beat the bitch!—
#8: Screw you, Kevin. You’re nothing but a troll with a slightly longer attention span. You come on here and leave comments overflowing with ignorant bulls-it, and then when anyone responds and/or challenges you on the beliefs that you’re apparently so desperate to share with GP’s readers, you disappear and can’t respond to even one straight-forward question or challenge. Then, you just pop up later on with more of your silliness. Are you interested in actually debating an issue? It seems like you aren’t and can only handle this one-sided routine. So, I’m just going to ignore you and encourage others to do the same. What a shock. A liberal who loves to debate, as long as he never has to listen to anyone else, respond to anyone else or defend his own beliefs with anything beyond slogans and bumper stickers. Why do you even bother?
#11: “In a very real sense, Palin’s political existence is a crowning achievement of the feminist (*read liberal*) movement.”
OMG, JR, you hit the nail on the head! You are sooooo RIGHT about this! Palin owes her political existence to all of the leaders of the liberal feminist movement who made her success possible. Especially the ones who are now questioning whether a “mommy with a newborn” is up to the job, pondering whether being VP of the US is really “women’s work” after all, and wondering HOW ON EARTH PALIN IS GOING TO HANDLE THIS JOB WHEN SHE GETS HER PERIOD. What then?!
I also agree with you 100% that Obama has more executive experience than Palin because he’s been RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT for like, what? 18 months? That’s executive experience he can take to the bank! (Tell the truth, JR. Based on your view of who is responsible for Palin’s success, you MUST to be the guy who came up with that argument for the Obama campaign, right?)
Oh, and one more thing. YES! You’re right, JR. Plants DO have feelings.
#11: “…we actually owe a debt of gratitude to past liberals and progressives…”
The only thing we owe to liberals and progressives, both past and present, is our unmitigated CONTEMPT.
#13: “Like Margaret Sanger, who promoted abortion as a means of preventing the “inferior races†from outbreeding the white race. A view that Planned Parenthood apparently still endorses.”
Exactly. I wonder just how much gratitude JR will want to convey to “past liberals and progressives” who fought so bravely for a woman’s right to choose when scientists manage to isolate that troublesome “gay gene” in fetuses, thereby offering women across the nation the right to “choose” a shot at conceiving a heterosexual child instead. Yes, what a proud day for “progressives” that will be.
“What are you talking about? There is no equal representation.”
Your comment is irrelevant.
I never claimed that there was equal representation–merely that American women insisted upon professional egalitarianism. The workplace is not at present equal in terms of gender representation–on that we agree.
A tip: read previous posts thoroughly before responding.
Regarding the historic conservative onus upon women in the workplace (and the randomly selected quotes above), I reference the following Phyllis Schlafly quotes:
“Sexual harassment on the job is not a problem for virtuous women.”
“Much of the demand for women in combat comes from female officers who are eager for medals and promotions.â€
Translation: quotes randomly searched via Google may be used from either side during an e-debate. For every Margaret Sanger quotation you find, I’ll happily take a few moments to find a conservative quote that suites my argument as well.
We can play such silly games as long as you like–it accomplishes nothing. My prediction: ad hominem attacks will soon commence …
I’ll engage in substantive debate only. Emotion, hyperbolic rhetoric, and illogic do little to promote the purpose of this blog.
In summation, I’ll return to the party that nominated a women for vice president in 1984. I’ll also take this moment to congratulate the GOP for finally letting voters exactly how far behind the times it is (24 years to be exact).
#14, already debunked.
I did hear that michael said “Gov Palin is so hot, I’d switch teams for her.”
It’s on the internet, it must be true.
Kevin says:
At least Kevin knows how we feel when the Democrats picked a presidential candidate of decidedly less experience than Governor Palin’s.
Kevin may be on the verge of admitting that if Barry were white he would never have made it to the Ivy League or anything close to where he is today.
So, Kevin, Palin is all affirmative action, right? Her massive approval rating in Alaska which crosses party lines is because of her stand on abortion and the Assembly of God.
Go try to get someone to pick your nose. You really can’t think.

Anatomy of a Smear – Who are Dick and Sharon Price?

Two members of Barack of Obama’s campaign, Dick and Sharon Price, created a post today on their “LA Progressive†blog that accuses Sarah Palin of using the name “Sambo†to describe Barack Obama.
Aside from the fact that this constitutes slander, for there is absolutely no evidence – sources, etc, there is more to the story about “Dick and Sharonâ€. First, their blog only came into being on 10 March 2008 according to whois records.
This is about the time that several satellite Pro-Obama blogs began to appear around the internet, several of which were found to be funded by the Obama campaign. Most likely this rag is funded by the Obama campaign as well.
Secondly, according to sources they are bona-fide Democrat political operatives that are known for planting such slanderous stories about opposition candidate going back for a while now.
The source called them “assassinsâ€.
The fact that the story wasn’t designed to do anything but get the story into Google search engines tells you much of the type of characters these two are – bottom feeders and just what kind of people support Barack Obama.
UPDATE: To note how bad this lie is, the Daily Kos which linked to it earlier deleted the link.
Yeah, but every time the deranged left throws out another false attack on Palin they 1. piss off a few more women voters, and 2. prove to a few more people not to trust anything they read on Kos .
Keep it comin’
Glad to see Kevin is back. McCain/ Palin have a shot at Hillary’s voters because a lot of them were anti BHO, not necessarily extreme Hillary lovers. A lot of the final 6 Dem primarys where Barack couldn’t close the deal, were Democrats who knew he wasn’t qualified. So Palin has a good chance at stealing these voters.
One of the reasons Palin stacks up better in my mind than Hillary is….I always viewed Hillary as a kind of Eva Peron. First lady, Senator, President. Very South American. If her husband wasn’t the ex President, how would she have progressed? Sarah started with the PTA, Commissioner, Mayor, Governor, VP then Prez. I agree with Sean’s Grandmother (#2). And come 2012, I wonder how many Dems will be complaining about Sarahs experience.
One more thing, we conservatives always wondered how Democrats could be caught dead supporting and excusing the prisoners at Gitmo. How in God’s name are they now on the side of a State Trooper who illegally killed a moose, and tazered his 10 year old step son? They are against wiretapping terrorists, and against drilling for more of our domestic oil during an energy crunch. Do these people have a tin ear or what!!??
#23: Actually, it was my Mother, who often exhibits a mysterious, crystal-ball-like ability to make spontaneous political predictions like this. My maternal Grandmother, on the other hand, is concerned with little else than what exists between the front and back cover of the current Neiman-Marcus catalog. (Nonetheless, even she is more qualified to be President than Obama–she’d be an empty suit as well–but in designer suits from Neiman-Marcus at least).
I like it when michael and Kevin are here. The blog is more exciting and it brings out the fight in you boys. Most often as you try to educate them I get new and interesting info and some links that I use everyday as well. I heard today a young conservative on radio complain that he went into some liberal blogs to debate things and almost all of his posts were deleted or not posted at all. After a while they informed him he no longer was welcome to post at all. He was really disappointed and a bit shocked, thinking he had a right to debate issues. Thanks to GP and GPW for letting in non profane lefties so we can see and try to understand their illness.
(j/k about the illness thing. )
Ah Neiman- Marcus, the bf spends way too much on the jeans there.
15: And the left is angry? hmmmmm. Plus, I notice the name calling to detract from the points at hand seem to come from the regular responders here.
26: And how about the profane righties who regularly post here yet don’t even get a little slap?
Oooooooo…by the way I’m watching Jon Stewart’s comparison videos from ealier this week. Bill O’Reily’s change of heart on parents of pregnant teens (Jamie Lyn Spears parents are pinheads, young miss palin’s parents are not). Priceless
<Unwed teenage pregnant daughter? Would be completely villified had Obama/Biden had the exact same situation in their family (including the shotgun wedding).
Perhaps because Comrade Obama/Biden would have tossed their “punishment” in a janitor’s closet to die. There wouldn’t be a shotgun wedding, especially when you consider liberals piss themselves if there’s a gun within 10 meters.
As far as banning books, I still can’t find Song of the South on DVD. So being the good little thought criminal that I am, I had to go to Pirate Bay to make my own.
Well if I were you, I’d leave and never come back. I’d go to the liberal boards where they always purge the thought criminals who don’t suck the blogger’s cock.
I love how the Left mixes the world of celebrity and the world of public officials.
I guess Jon Stewarts thought that Jamie Spears and the Palins were appropiate comparsions.
And then the Left moans when it’s observed that they treat Obama like a celebrtiy. They’re treating everyone like trashy celebrities.
Christ.. If I have to spend 4 years listening to this idiot I think i will die. Do we really need someone who sounds like willis from differn strokes as president.
Obama takes first hard hit at Palin
– Sat Sep 6, 2:40 pm ET
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Barack Obama took his first direct swipe at Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on Saturday, criticizing her for supporting congressional earmarks before opposing them.
“I know the governor of Alaska has been, you know, saying she is change,†Obama said at a town hall meeting here. “And that is great. She is a skillful politician. But when you [have] been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person.
“That is not change, come on,†Obama continued. “I mean, words mean something. You can’t just make stuff up. You can’t just make stuff up. We have a choice to make and the choice is clear.â€
The comments were his harshest attack yet on Palin, who sought millions of dollars in earmarks as mayor of Wasilla but later began criticizing them as governor. The Obama campaign has been searching for an effective line of attack against Palin since she burst onto the national scene a week ago as John McCain’s running mate.
I agree with you Gene,
I’m not as search engine savy, so I don’t pull up the links my fellow posters do. Unfortunately michael come on bleats out non-sense, and leaves, ignoring when the debunking is so simple even I can find it. Kevin comes and rants and raves, but like his idol, he refuses to commit to anything, thus my constant bringing up of his affection for public sex, which he refuses to denounce.
I do post with a reply of sarcasm, and try to be patient. Like I’ve said before, Kevin and michael show the hatred of the 6 year old. Mad at mommy and daddy that they’re not getting their way.
She sure is strong in her hatred of the GLBT community but, of course, I am sure the LRCs would have known about all of this:
Palin Opposed Supreme Court Ruling Giving Same-Sex Couples Benefits: Asked if she would support the Alaska Supreme Court’s ruling that spousal benefits for state employees should be given to same-sex couples, Palin responded, “No, I believe spousal benefits are reserved for married citizens as defined in our constitution.†[Eagle Forum questionnaire]
Palin Opposed Expanding Hate Crimes Laws: Asked if she would support an effort to expand hate crime laws, Palin responded, “No, as I believe all heinous crime is based on hate.†[Eagle Forum questionnaire]
Palin Said She Supported Ban on Gay Marriage and Denying Benefits to Gay Couples: “Palin said she’s not out to judge anyone and has good friends who are gay, but that she supported the 1998 constitutional amendment [to ban gay marriage]. Elected officials can’t defy the court when it comes to how rights are applied, she said, but she would support a ballot question that would deny benefits to homosexual couples. ‘I believe that honoring the family structure is that important,’ Palin said. She said she doesn’t know if people choose to be gay.†[Anchorage Daily News (Alaska), 8/6/06]
Palin Said She Supported a Constitutional Amendment Overturning Supreme Court Mandate of Benefits for Same-Sex Couples: Asked if she would support a Constitutional amendment to overturn the Alaska Supreme Court decision mandating public employers to provide benefits equivalent to same-sex couples, Sarah Palin responded “yes.†[Alaska Family Council Voter Guide, 8/22/06]

comment#2…I made the same prediction..in another topic..that in 2012 Sarah Palin will be at the top of the GOP ticket (McCain will only be President for one term) and turn over the Presidency to Sarah and she will pick Bobby Jindal as her VP.
My hope is that Sarah Palin will be elected in 2012 in her own right as President of the United States and Bobby Jindal will be her VP.
My concern is that it happens and for that happen, we need to elect Sarah VP in 2008. If McCain loses, I don’t want Sarah blamed.
Sean, I do believe your Mom got it spot on accurate. Now, let us hope it happens.
I am betting Hillary and Bill are voting for McCain/Palin in 2008 since Hillary wants her shot at the Presidency in 2012.
I am also betting that America in 2012 doesn’t say as they did in 1992 that they were tired of the GOP and went for a Bubba….let’s hope not since McCain and Palin will produce reform….
My wish is that Sarah Palin were the Presidential nominee but 4 years as VP will be fine and she will be a great Margaret Thatcher/Ronald Reagan President (8 years of Palin as President would be a dream come true:)
#23 – “Yeah, but every time the deranged left throws out another false attack on Palin they 1. piss off a few more women voters, and 2. prove to a few more people not to trust anything they read on Kos.”
Vince, you forgot #3 – “gives everyone the incentive to donate more money to the McCain-Palin ticket to defeat The Snob and The Bidet.”
Regards,
Peter H.
Could we call the McCain/Palin ticket “Old and Busted/New Hotness?”
I am laughing at NObama..words mean something..is that all he has? and of course ignore the nearly billion dollars of earmarks he got for his home state…and ignore he has no record…i roared when Chris Wallace pointed out to David Axelrod that the reaching across the aisle that Nobama did was a unanimous consent of the Senate regarding nukes that are no longer used in Russia…
what scares me is that Nobama has no ability to run the free world and our economy..he just said on This Week with George Stephanoupolos that if the economy is in recession he won’t get rid of the Bush tax cuts…duh you think…..he doesn’t even know the basics of the economy..in a recession you cut taxes not raise them and by making the tax cuts permanent you put more of our money in our pocket (his Oneness forgets that its all our money..not the government’s) and we need to restore fiscal conservative principles to the government.
the guy’s Marxist views scare the hell out of me and he keeps playing the race card and now the Muslim card….and plays victim and accuses the GOP of raising it…
he is pitiful
Anne Applebaum says, Sarah Palin Brings the Clinton Era to an End.
And she wonders,
Here’s a clue, Annie, if you’re a conservative, you take strength from your faith, your family, and your community. If you’re a liberal, you pay a shrink and take some pills.
Why won’t they let the “tough lady” talk to the press?
“… Davis said that the media had not been fair to Palin, during a political storm over her selection, and that the campaign had no intention of exposing her to “piranhas” in the news media.”
Oh my goodness, is she scared? Boo hoo! How is she going to handle tough situations in the White House? What a JOKE! She is cramming on policy and that is the real reason. I don’t want a VP or possible Chief Executive using Cliff Notes! Sarah needs to go.
I predict she will bow out before November.

It must suck to have such a derivative identity – something that’s merely a reaction to others, in this case to Gay Patriot.
And as well, it must suck to have such derivative, hackneyed thoughts.
I’ve been trying to figure out which entities Barack was thinking about when he said we had 57 states. In his own head I’m sure he’s thinking….
1. DC
2. Puerto Rico
3. Guam
But which other places did he have in mind? Seriously.
I remember a few years ago Rachel Welch was being interviewed and she said “across the 51 states”, the interviewer tried to help her and mentioned there were 50 states and she began to argue “you know, from Maine to Pennsylvania, Chicago to California.” I’m just wondering how the next President of the United States, in his own head, gets to 57?
RE #42. Can you guys come up with anything better than anointed one or The One especially given the way your are creaming all over Sarah as if the Virgin Mary herself has descended upon the stage of the RNC along with her virginal daughter carrying the second coming.
Obama has been on several news programs and even sat down with Bill O’Loofah himself (I wouldn’t have given him the time of day.
RE #42. You know it’s bad if even Faux News is wondering where Palin is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff5ebi1VPn8
When will this strong woman be ready to face the press all alone without daddy beer bucks?
RE #44. The right has no corner on patriotism. As a matter of fact I believe liberals love the promise and possibilities of the United States of America – a country of immigrants and workers where dreams can be achieved and we help our brothers and sisters in need (in the tradition of most major religions and spiritual practices) rather than the right who believe this land is our land applies to a few select wealthy citizens who can afford the deeds and the rest can sweep their floors – especially if they are a different color, because workers must remain in their place and the military industrial complex shall rule the world all the while defiling natural resources in the name of progress until the entire globe is a paved wasteland.
You know, a flag pin is meaningless if the wearer is merely using patriotism as a propaganda tool (as Inhofe and his ilk do).
RE#45. Oh please. snopes.com has a perfectly reasonable answer to that silly question. Given’ the senior moments Gramps McCain has you should probably steer clear of such ridiculous arguments against Obama.
Ann Coulter said it best….in her September 3, 2008 blog article…”The Best Man Turned out to be a Woman”!!!
check it out in anncoulter.com
plus check out the Larry Kudlow interview with Ann Coulter and Bill Press…..I do have to give props to Larry Kudlow who has pushed for Governor Palin to be the VP choice for several months and had her on his show more then once.
Governor Palin is both a combination of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher and is going to be one great VP and thereafter will be President in her right when she is elected in 2012 as President when McCain says ok, I got my one term, now its time to keep Country First and make VP Palin the next President of the United States.
and in God we Trust, we shall!!
It took BHO 7 months to sit down with O’Reilly. I’d advise Sarah to use the same caution with the drive by media as well. I’d schedule her with a Meet the Press interview about April 1 2009. Brokaw can get all excited to get the new Vice President on his show. hehe (This is so much more fun than I thought I was going to be having just a few short weeks ago!!!!!!)
Yeah that “war on poverty” has really worked out great, hasn’t it? I mean, it keeps blacks in grinding poverty and under the thumb of the DNC so they don’t wander off the plantation and actually do for themselves.
You mean like how liberal congressmen get sweet mortgage rates nobody else can get? Or do you mean like how Comrade Obama bought a McMansion with the assistance of a slum lord?
If Tony Rezko is an example of how liberals “help our brothers and sisters in need”, not only can you keep your “help” but you can shove it sideways as well.
Can you name a liberal program that’s actually worked?

I can come up with something better than Messiah.. how about Marxist.
I am not name-calling when I call him Marxist. I sincerely believe it
His entire Presidential campaign is a fraud, in the strongest meaning of the word. The key to whole riddle is William Ayers.
In the 90s, the Timothy McVeigh of the 70s, William Ayers of the Weather Underground, chose Obama to be the first chairman of a new organization called the Chicago Allenberg Challenge, which was to spend millions of dollars in doing work toward reforming schools.
For William Ayers to choose Obama to co-lead a multi-million dollar organization devoted to shaping education policy in Chicago so that his values (William Ayers) are taught to kids has to require that Obama and Ayers are in agreement on what those values are.
If one hasn’t done a good job at finding out about Ayers life then they may not think this association is so dangerous. But I watched a self-titled documentary on “The Weather Underground†that was filmed in the early 2000s (or late 1990s .. cant remmeber) You can find this film for free at Google Video. If you haven’t watched it.. you really have to.
The Ayers of today is just as committed now as he was back then to revolutionary transformation of American society and government to a “humane systemâ€
No one can tell me that Ayers is going to pick Obama to distribute millions of dollars of Ayers institution if Ayers thought it wasn’t working toward his goals.
Glenn beck / CNN did an awesome show on the dangers if Obama wins
I urge people to watch the Weather Underground documentary… you must understand what Ayers tried to do in the 70s.. and then watch the Glenn Beck / CNN video to see how that matters today
In this fight Obama is having with Palin about experience and who has managed what sums of money and sat on what commissions , Obama’s resume looks really thin.
But he’s hiding stuff .
He’s hiding his work on the Allenberg Challenge.. he’s hiding his work at something called the Woods Fund where Ayers also was.
And did you folks know that Barack and Michelle run a Boot Camp for radicals?

Election ’08: Democrats’ reintroduction of militant Michelle Obama in Denver was supposed to show her softer side. But it only highlighted a radical part of her resume: Public Allies.
Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, “Universal Voluntary Public Service.”

Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Yet no one mentions it. Of course, this camp is nothing more than the Hitler Youth of today. It’s Marxist indoctrination.
There are too many lies and omissions.
All the hard core Leftiies are sending a steady stream of disinformation on the republican lady to destroy her.. but that wont work.
And finally , listen to his campaign rhetoric… all designed to make people feel like everything is slipping away from them and that he will REMAKE (not fix.. REMAKE) the country
This guy is dangerous.
How you Leftists support this? You are supposed to defend our Constitution

This shit is really messed up. If she gets into office the USA will be seriously F’ed up. Foreign policy will simply be, We’ll pray to Jesus to take care of our problems!
Meanwhile, Obama talks about how he’s doing “the Lord’s work” and how people who LGP screams are “theocrats” are actually “models” for how Obama thinks the world should be run — and LGP fully endorses and supports that.

The note how people who LGP screams are “theocrats” are actually fully supported and endorse by Obama as “models” for how Obama thinks the world should be run.
With LGP’s full support and endorsement of course.

Then we should note how people who LGP screams are “theocrats” are actually fully supported and endorsed by Obama as “models”.
