It seems I can’t open my e-mail box or check the blogs without discovering some new allegation about Sarah Palin. Â It’s gotten to the point now where I now almost immediately discount any criticism leveled against the Alaska Governor. Â The left-wing blogs (and their echo chambers in the MSM) should learn that they lose credibility when they put forward allegations which can be readily debunked. Â
Pajamas Media has been doing a great job taking on those who would smear the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee. Â Just yesterday, they posted Charlie Martin’s “Separating Palin Fact from Palin Fiction” when, often in a humorous vein, he debunks many of the rumors floating around the net about that good and strong woman.
Finding that Palin “drives journalists nuts,” Jim Treacher observes:
If they dug into Obama’s connections to black separatists and domestic terrorists and other hope-and-change advocates as thoroughly as they’re digging into Palin’s PTA records and pizza delivery receipts, we might have a whole different election. But that would only happen in some sort of mirror universe where Obama had joined a different party. They’ve come up empty again and again, but they still can’t stop. The more they realize that this woman actually might be as squeaky-clean as advertised, the harder they try to find something. Anything. And the dumber they look, the angrier and sloppier they get. Every “Gotcha!†becomes a “D’oh!â€
Seems we’ve heard more about the pastor at a church Palin left six years ago because his church was too extreme than about William Ayers, an American terrorist with whom Obama had a regular association throughout the 1990s (even as the Democratic nominee claimed he was just a guy in his neighborhood).
Factcheck.org has also set the record straight on a number of “claims and rumors” about John McCain’s running mate.
Now, I’m beginning to wonder if maybe Hillary Clinton was right and there is sexism in the media. I had just thought it was a readiness and resolve to repudiate any Republican who ressembles Reagan
The other VP weighs in:
You hear that, Sweetie? Now, be a good girl and get Uncle Joe his coffee, and make sure you put some Irish in it. Can you handle that, Sweetcakes?
Sarah Palin, literally the left’s worst nightmare.
But that would only happen in some sort of mirror universe where Obama had joined a different party.
… and the press would all be wearing goatees!!!
Perhaps Senator Biden understands the difference between a real leader and a queen bee.
Which is why he’s so scared of Palin; he knows she’s a leader, and not a queen bee.
Poor trashy Biden doesn’t want women who don’t do what he tells them to do and don’t believe what he tells them to believe.
Queen bee? There was a reference to Nancy Pelosi somewhere?
Somebody at the Atlantic had a little talk with Sully. Now, he’s pouting.
What’s it like to be a middle-school girl trapped in the body of a middle-aged gay man?
Guys – this radio interview is incredible. Must-hear!
http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/09/comedy-gold-lefty-radio-hosts-crestfallen-as-palin-defended-by-mike-gravel/
Mike Gravel – yes, one of the DEMOCRAT candidates for President, and a former Senator from Alaska – is on a left-wing show. He gets increasingly upset with the hosts for their unfair and ill-informed comments attacking Palin, and defends her brilliantly.
Yes!!! The Left still has one gentleman! 🙂
City Journal: Palin is a Red State Feminist. She practices the sort of female empowerment that coastal enclave feminists do not understand, but greatly resent. Also, the article points out that Palin comes across as natural. Whereas Hillary uses focus groups to pick her hairstyle.
Boo hoo! Poor Sarah. Cute how Jim Treacher would say how unfair it is to spread rumors about St. Sarah while furthering more about Obama – what a dunce. The right would never ever spread rumors and out right lies about a democratic nominee would they? Why, they wouldn’t do something like that against one of their own.
Oops!
“Would you be more or less likely to vote for John McCain…if you knew he had fathered an illegitimate black child?”
-Push Poll by Karl Rove 2000
People don’t know this woman who the RNC has thrust upon us (and poor Ol’ Johnny McC – I bet he misses his bff LIEberman). Obviously people need to know more. I don’t trust her and I think even republicans would be wise not to throw all caution to the wind for this secretive, un-vetted, do-as-I-say not-as-I-do, celebrity.
It brings up a good point that the VP post is incredibly undemocratic as we, the people, have no say in this very important position.
“Now, I’m beginning to wonder if maybe Hillary Clinton was right and there is sexism in the media”
I dont know if you call it sexism. What they do is use any of your traits against you as a brutal weapon.
If you were black they’d use race.. if you were gay theygo that route.
It’s a deep utter contempt for anyone they disagree with.
Debunking hte Parody poster again…
No one knows the point of origin of the push poll question.
Hard to say people don’t know about Gov Palin, after all, the Democrats are decdnding on AK looking for anything that might stick, and being disapointed.
I love how it’s showing the Democrats true colours. Only way we would see more hatred for one of their ‘protected minorities’ would be if they’d tapped Dan or Bruce for the #2 chair
The McCain black child push-poll is an urban legend. For the record, Liberal Gay Parody is terrified that someday after picking up a rough trick, he’ll wake up in a tub of ice with a missing kidney.
#13 – Or eating a cockroach burrito at Taco Bell, or eating a fried rat at KFC, or … you get the picture.
My favorite urban legend is the Mountain-Dew-with-Poprocks combo.

Peter H.
Of course Palin has a clean record – she was never a White House intern! (Nor, for that matter, a Congressional page.)
The fact of the matter is that we don’t have to. The libs trash themselves for us. It’s only after they realize what they’ve done that they spin it into “rumors” and “outright lies”. Only liberals go apesh*tspiceygonzo when you tell the truth about them. We’re supposed to be too stupid to notice.
