Donald Trump, who “donated to Hillary Clinton” during the Democratic primaries, has now endorsed John McCain for President of the United States. He fears that if elected Barack Obama would raise taxes “drastically,” contending that “this is not the right time for tax increases” Â (H/t Instapundit).
On Wednesday, a Hillary fundraiser, Democratic National Committee Platform Committee member “Lynn Forester de Rothschild has said she thinks Democratic nominee Barack Obama is arrogant and has a problem connecting with average Americans.” She too is backing John McCain.
I think a review of Lady de Rothschild is warranted. Here is her very impressive profile.
Lady de Rothschild is Founder and Chief Executive of E L Rothschild LLC, a private company, since June 2002. From 1990 to 2002, Lady de Rothschild was President and Chief Executive Officer of FirstMark Holdings, Inc., which owned and managed various telecommunications companies. She was Executive Vice President for Development at Metromedia Telecommunications, Inc. from 1984 to 1989. She began her career in 1980 as an associate at the law firm of Simpson, Thacher and Bartlett LLP, where she practiced corporate law. Lady de Rothschild is a director of The Economist Newspaper Limited (member of the Audit Committee). She is also a member of the U.N. Advisory Committee on Inclusive Financial Services and a trustee of the American Fund for the Tate Gallery, the Outward Bound Trust (UK), and the Alfred Herrhausen Society for International Dialogue (Deutsche Bank). Lady de Rothschild is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Foreign Policy Association, and she served as a member of the National Information Infrastructure Advisory Committee and as the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board under President Clinton.
Oooooo… a Rothschild endorsement! Does that mean the Illuminati and Knights Templar support McCain now?
Well lets hope so KevinQC, he’d win if they do. Everyone knows they rule the world.
By the way, even when Trump is right he creeps me out.
You are missing the point. Look at her experience and not judge her by her MARRIED name.
My point is that a Hillary supporter is looking beyond party loyalty and judging the candidates based on her experience not Rowe v. Wade.
By the way, you should be excited that the “EL” is Estee’ Lauder. Does THAT make you more comfortable? OK, that was sassy……
jeez!
