No surprises from Obama. Anti-Iraq war boilerplate, negotiate with Iran, attack Pakistan, impose statist economic plan. The guy looks like he’s aged 20 years in 20 months.

McCain pwned Obama.

Obama didn’t do badly. No major gaffes. No dramatic setbacks. He didn’t cry, which honestly I was almost half-expect to happen at some point in this campaign. His answers were semi-reasonable, most of the time. But he was very “me, too”. For the most part, he danced to McCain’s tune.

Example – When McCain talked about veterans and POWs, you knew he was being real. Because McCain *is* one – he’s lived it. He was speaking in an absolutely real way. When Obama talked about it, Obama was the lightweight trying to prove he was real… with a constant, barely-suppressed undertone of arrogance and anger at having to prove that. Same thing on many questions.

“I have a bracelet, too!” – That quote of Obama’s epitomizes his lack of balls; his lightweight (if not phony/pretender) status and his “Me, too – I can SO be President!” attitude. Who knows, it may ultimately be his epitaph. Let’s hope.

I must admit that I just donâ€™t like the tone of Obamaâ€™s voice. It is like he is standing on a box in Hyde Park, looking down his nose at “anyone” opposes anything that he says.

I have not been watching, but just listening to the debate. Obama has been on defense for 75% of the time……………however, I am biased. I must admit that I just don’t like the tone of Obama’s voice. It is like he is standing on a box in Hyde Park, looking down his nose at oppose anything that he says.

Obama just said he wants to see us “invest in energy so we can give up our dependence on foreign oil.” Must have some of your pills….I made a solar oven when I was in 6th grade and solar energy was going to “change the future” That was 50 years ago in my science fair. They haven’t made much advance.
